CHAPTER 53
Wearing a short flutter sleeve and A-line skirt, I rushed myself going inside the elevator, but my luck today betrayed me because I saw Axis heading his way at me. He also entered the elevator and stood next to me.
"Good morning," he greeted at me as his smile was plastered on his face. I just smiled at him and shut myself up. I just avoided looking at him. As long as I can, I will now really forget him, not because I have to but because I need to.
When the elevator opened, I quickly got out of there but he stopped me by holding one of my hands. "I'll drop you at your restaurant," he said smilingly. I gasped slightly before I looked at him.
"There's no need. I'll use my car today," I answered and turned back at him without waiting for his words. I'm sorry but I have to do this Axis.
When I got to the basement, I took another deep breath. Stand up for what you said, Yash. You have to forget him if you don’t want to get hurt. I reminded myself.
