Chapter Four

It's not that l wasn't expecting it cause l usually get these unannounced voices all the time because of the work but it's the shiver that came along it that startled me.

Thinking what this guy just said my blood and anger start to boil over and who does he think he is coming her to claim l am doing some Cinderella schemes pfffttt like excuse me

"I am sorry what." I finally stop my mind rambling

"I think you heard me the first time princess." He smirks which was hella hot but that's not the time for it.

"I am sorry but if you think l am one of those girls who you can just throw your lame ass pick up lines at and the next second they fall to their knees bitch please try the next girl ain't gonna work for me." I whisper yell wouldn't want to attract too much attention .

"Calm down princess." He chuckles

This guy better be serious, who tells the female species to calm down when they on the edge of erupting and on top of that he laughs.

Like holl up is he for real right now.

"If you want to place an order please do it now l literally don't  have time for these games you playing alright."

I gave him thirty seconds to order and he didn't so l excused myself from the Greek god that sat infront of me and walked behind the counter to collect my orders and give some old lads cause that's like their time around this time. You flash them Colgate smile, and offer that exceptional service but they don't give you tips all they say is

"You mother is blessed to have."

"You were brought well."

"Be blessed my child."

Like excuse okay first thank you for the compliments but they ain't going to bring bread on table. I mean doing a Colgate megawatt smile all the time just means please tip cause that's a lot of work. Do they know how many calories l have burned without getting paid for cause nothing of mine is paid for.

"Kira darling."

"Yes Mrs Jackson's ." I answer her.

"Please serve that gentleman right there. He's my boy this was always his diner growing up. He especially requested for you and we can't keep our customers waiting can we." She smiles and l avert my gaze to where this gentleman might be and guess what you guessed it right it's 5e one and only Greek god that fantasizes about Disney fairytale princesses oblivious of what's going on l try to avoid it.

"Can't Lisa go cause l still have to do Mr and Mrs Darton's order you know what they like." I try to dodge

"Oh no don't worry l will get Rita to do it for you. They prefer either you or Rita so you got it covered okay. " she states and makes her way back to the kitchen.

Taking huge deep breath and dusting off some imaginary dust and straightening my apron l walk back to him. He was typing on his phone.

"And what do you want." I ask

"Is this how you treat all your customers. " he switches his phone and puts his attention to me

"Good afternoon. What can l get you." And l give him a fake smile

"You can do better than that you know. Gimme a better smile."

What do girls or people see in this guy besides the body with rippled muscles, the Auburn messy hair ,the eyes -

Stopping myself from too much unprofessional detail.

"How's your baby." He asks

At first l smile but worry overtakes me to how does he know l have a baby unless he's stalking me .

"How do you know her."

"Well at first l thought you were one of those girls who do anything I their power to get my attention and all that. After the cafeteria incident with Rachael l realized you weren't aware and your reaction afterwards told me you didn't know what she did." He explained

"Oh shit. I am so sorry l honestly didn't know she would do that to you. She doesn't have a father figure so maybe she just assumed it's you and also peer pressure of day care where other kids talk about their dads probably made her say that. I am so sorry." Now l feel so stupid for acting like a jerk.

He smiles , so yes this is the one and only Chris

"So you Chris." I confirm

"The one and only." So much for being a jerk.

"I am really sorry for Kayla though." I genuinely apologize and then it sparks my mind that he mentioned a Cinderella at the start of our conversation. I hate making assumptions so l ask away.

"Why say Cinderella schemes."

He chuckles "For starters when you collected Kayla after she called me dad and has got some of my teammates thinking she's a result of my one night stands you never showed your face just said sorry. Ask today in the hallway after the bell you bumped into me and dropped your phone. Which explains why l am here cause Grayson keeps calling me or you Yah whatever."

And now he has my phone and l need it back and l was jerk to you.

"And can l have it back." I ask with puppy eyes.

"I will need 3 favours."

"Yes right obviously nothing is for free."

"You know it." He answers back

"I am starting to think you have a Disney Princess fetish." I tell him "I mean first it was Cinderella and now l am what your genie." I laugh

He laughs with me and he hands me my phone ,as if Grayson knew it's now in my hands he calls. I am bracing myself for some shouting and yelling oh God

"Thank you really and l am also sorry." I tell him before l leave

"It's okay plus I never got your name anyways." He looks at me expectantly but l just smile at him and continue to walk away.

since he seems to have a Cinderella or rather a fairytale fettish l might as well grant it to him continue to listen to Grayson who was throwing a fit l had totally forgotten about that.

Worse more l am still at work how could l forget.
