Quinn POV

Possible Trauma Triggers

I lean over placing my elbows on my knees and my head in my hands because I didn’t want to face anyone, but I know I can’t keep going on, like this. The fact that I let Avery touch me was enough proof of that. The fact that I was in such a bad place that I could even suggest what I did, is not good. To degrade her the way I did, I may not like Avery, but no woman deserves that. “I can’t tell you what happened...” I ran my fingers through my hair a few times and exhaled loudly. “...because I don’t know what happened.”

“What do you mean you don’t know what happened?” Dad asked rubbing my back in comfort.

“Just what I said...” I sat up turning to look at Dad. “...I don’t know what happened. I blacked out.”
