Dillon Long

My sanity went away when I saw Ivy lying unconscious on the cold floor. I wasn't thinking of anything when I picked her up but something was in my head. I don't want to lose her.

Although, she was naive. She has made my life interesting. I wake up every day with different things to do and worry about.

She opened her eyes and I could see it in her eyes. The anxiety. The uncertainties. The longing.

Afterward, she blacked out.

After spending a lot of time in the theater. The head of the doctor came out. He sighed when he saw me and my heart tightened.

"Remember that what you say will decide the fate of your hospital," I threatened.

My voice was hoarse to him, but deeply, I was shaking and hoping it would be something else.

"Your wife is safe and out of trouble, Mr. Dillon,"

He confessed. I jumped like I had heard the best news of my life. I even carried him up absently.
