It was a Friday afternoon and Jamie was trying to tidy up some loose ends in the contract his attorney had drafted, regarding his partnership with the Henderson family business. He was lost in his old world until he suddenly heard the sound of his office door slamming against the wall. The disturbance jerked him away from the file on his desk and his eyes darted up to see Selena there, this time, holding a little kid.

His eyes widened almost immediately with recognition but then his assistant rushed in with a frightened expression etched on her face.

“I’m sorry Sir but I tried holding her back but she wouldn’t listen,” she explained profusely in a shaky voice but Jamie waved her off, sending her out of the office. As soon as the door shut behind her, he returned his attention to Selena who was standing there like she had the right to be in his office, while still holding onto the kid whose innocent gaze was fixed on Jamie, her big ocean-blue eyes drinking him in.

I think Jamie will tell Cookie about Selena and what she's claiming. If he is honest and upfront with Cookie she will have his back and support him. Selena is no match for Cookie so she better be careful not to cross her.
