Chapter Thirty- Seven

Damon POV

As soon as the question leaves Theo's mouth, my face paling as the color drains. I knew this would happen eventually. That someone in the pack would put the pieces together that things about Elle don't add up. Even with lots of training, an Omega does not move as gracefully on the training field.

"I take it from your lack of a response that the answer to my question is yes," Theo mutters as he looks between the three of us, examining our reactions intently.

Slade finally regains his composure from the shock of his question; he pushes forward to make his presence known, "if you care about protecting Elle like you claim Beta, you will not tell a soul what you know. It could be her death." he growls in that animalistic voice, Slade is preparing to attack when Theo does something that continues to shock us by showing his neck in submission. I expected him to resist; accepting his submission, Slade returns control.
