Luna Olivia POV I am sitting on the bedroom balcony enjoying my afternoon tea when I see the high schoolers walking onto the field to start their training. Damon, Andrew, and Matt are already standing at one end, heads bent, talking to one another. Like their fathers before them, they are never apart. The three talk intently, ignoring the other students who start warming up. What has them so busy that they aren't focusing on training right now? Those three are up to something, but I can guess what they are talking about. I watch Elle enter the field, but my son still hasn't noticed until the wind shifts taking her scent right to him as if sent by the moon Goddess herself. I watch as Damon's eyes find her walking through the crowd toward Theo with a pissed-off look. I don't care about their squabbles as I watch Damon watch Elle. I can tell he is dying desperately to go over there, talk to her, and be near her but he doesn't because of the fight with his father recently. My heart bre
ELLE POV Theo was supposed to meet me this morning to tell me about his night with Damon, Matt, and Andrew, but he was a no-show; in fact, they all were. I tried calling, texting, and mindlinking him with no response. When school ends, I am beyond pissed; something happened last night that's the only explanation for Theo not talking to me all day. The slow build of anger and annoyance skyrocketed when I saw Theo across the field laughing at whatever Victor was telling him. Not thinking, I beeline for him, my anger evident to the other students as they part like the Red Sea. I swear he gulps subtly in fear when he sees me barreling toward him. Even Victor beside him looks terrified as he slowly tries to inch himself away from my intended target, not wanting to get caught in the crosshairs. "What the hell, Theo?" I yell, throwing my hands in the air, "you couldn't call me back?" The guilty look on his face and how he keeps shifting his eyes to look behind, desperately pleading for
DAMON POV Three nights I have stayed going through Theo's father's stupid study, and I can't find a goddamn thing. I can feel Matt and Andrew getting nervous around me. Between the lack of sleep and clues, I've become a stubborn asshole. How am I supposed to present Elle with what I know Monday morning when it's Thursday night, and she leaves for New York in five fucking hours. Throwing the book I am holding in my hands at the wall of Theo's bedroom, startling the others helping me pour through stacks of paperwork. "Don't worry, Alpha," Andrew says, "we will find something." I know he is trying to be reassuring, but I am slowly losing hope, so I say nothing in return. Elle's parents took precautions in hiding her identity, and I don't blame them. I have been reading up on the history of born Luna's, and it's not pretty. Many are kidnapped, raped, forcefully marked, and used as breeding machines. A few were lucky if they found their mate before anyone realized their power, and the
Hello faithful readers, After discussing with my editor about my story"The Possessive Alpha," I have decided to make some changes to this story's prologue. I will be eliminating the first prologue chapter and will be changing the POV of the second prologue to Elle's POV. I will also make some small edits (mainly grammar and name continuity) throughout the chapters to ensure the story flows nicely and that there are no major plot holes. I will continue to update chapters as I make these changes as well. This is my first attempt at writing a web novel, and there are still a lot of learning curves to this new adventure. So thank you for your continued support as I stumble along and the patience to go back and read what changes I have made in hopes that the story flows better. Lastly, next week I hope to reveal my *OFFICIAL* cover art for "The Possessive Alpha" and finally break away from the generic cover provided by GoodNovel. A lot of changes are coming to this story- and hopeful
ELLE POV I did not mean to fall asleep outside his door, but I did know the second he put me in his arms, the tingles ran wild against my skin like they were trying to tell me a secret. I knew what I was doing the second I whimpered; no matter how much I wanted to hate him, I couldn't. No matter how hard I try, I can't. "Please..." I sound desperate and needy, but I don't care. As soon as he decided to pick me up, I was putty already wet in a way I had never been before. I am still disappointed that we didn't go to his room, but this will do just as well. I can't have him walk out that door. Then comes the one thing that I never thought would come out of my mouth, "I need you, Alpha," What the hell am I saying? I hated submitting to him but right now, at this moment, I want to submit and receive what he gives—going against every instinct I have. "Good girl," he growls back in approval, and I never thought two words could sound this good. While Damon was sweeter and more cautiou
ELLE POV As soon as the girls cross the threshold, Taylor starts squealing like a wild banshee while jumping around, her excitement radiating to the others. "GIRRRRRRRRRRRL! SPILL!" she gushes, "The room REEKS of him! Did you guys....?" She continues, a suggestive look on her face while she makes obscene gestures causing Emma and Charity to giggle. "No..." I say, but I can feel the blush taking over my body; they know something happened in this room. Damon's scent compliments mine and smells like home when mixed. I liked having him here, but if I can't, I'll sleep better with his scent on my sheets when I get home. "But stuff did happen, right?" Taylor asked, a hopeful look on her face while her twin Emma chimed in sarcastically, "because it smells like something happened here." Which only makes Charity laugh harder. Damn twins and their quick wit. "Look, what did or didn't happen in my room is between Damon and me. But if we did anything, it was categorically the best experien
DAMON POV Standing in my bedroom window, I watch Elle load her bags into her jeep with the others already piled within. My mother and father are off to the side, talking to Jonah and his men, Eli, Brad, and another warrior whose name I don't know. Elle and her friends are standing off to the side, talking and chatting, when I notice Theo glancing at Jonah warily like there is distrust there; why haven't I noticed that before? Hmmm. I'll have to talk to him when I meet them in the city. Theo has slowly become a friend in the last few days, and my trust for him is growing the more I realize he has the same interests. I have also noticed the close bond he and Andrew are forming. Matt is starting to feel left out, but maybe it's a beta thing. Opening the mindlink, I send Theo a message, 'Look after Elle. I don't trust Jonah,' I tell him through the link feeling no need to make it a command; Theo would look after her with his life. 'With my life, Alpha,' was his response, as I expec
DAMON POV "Dude, what took so long?" Matt asks when I finally get out to the Bronco, throwing my bag into the trunk. "We were supposed to leave fifteen minutes ago," he complains, leave it to the Gamma to be a stickler for punctuality. I hate how much we fit into the stereotypes of ranked wolves, but what can I do about it? "Mom," I mutter, a little grumpy that I keep lying to her. "Oh, shit," Andrew includes, knowing it's impossible to get anything by her. "what'd you tell her?" He asked to ensure we got our story straight in case the parents asked each other. Those are some of the scariest she-wolves any of us had ever met. We might be future leaders, but we are terrified of our mothers. Climbing into the front seat, I relax into the leather; hitting the round start button and grabbing the gear shift, I throw it to drive, roaring down the drive lined with maple trees. "What did you tell your mom?" Andrew asks once we get halfway down the drive, clearly freaking out. I can hear
