Chapter 17: Female Client

"See yah later, Luna."

I wasn't sure if Ceylon's kind treatment towards me was part of following Alpha's orders. He doesn't usually smile at me like that, almost teasingly.

Since he considered me as the Luna of Alpha, he didn't use his black Ducati but his own car. Now we were in front of Hildart's main building, and I was about to get out when he said those words to me. He kept calling me Luna, but I'm not used to being called that. I would prefer to be called Omega or Sophia, even though I'm not yet the official Luna of the entire pack.

I didn't respond to his comment and simply got out of the car. I glanced at him, and he gave me a sweet smile before driving away. I felt relieved when I could no longer sense his presence around me. I know he's my cousin and I should receive that kind of treatment from him, but he hasn't cared about me in the past, even when I had bruises on my face.

Although I don't agree with his behavior, I'm still grateful because he's the first cousin in my life
