Chapter 21: Wolf wants

"White fur..."

Cathy gazed up at me in awe because of my massive white wolf. She gently touched Nala's cheek to feel the softness of her fur. I could see the amazement in her eyes as she continued to stroke our fur with her fingers.

"Sophia!" Khate giggled and eagerly approached me to touch Nala's cheek too. "You're beautiful!" It was the first compliment she had ever given me. In the past, her words were always judgmental, but now that I had Nala, she praised me.

"Mommy!" Cathy ran towards the kitchen door to call her mother from inside the house. "Look at Sophia here!"

Nala wanted to leave in front of Khate, but I stop her first, we had to stay for a while because Cathy called Auntie Elvie. I didn't want to appear rude, so I decided to show my wolf form to Auntie first before allowing Nala to run into the forest.
