SORAYA’S POV

I could not get much sleep once Nyra left. Not like there was any point, considering she left shortly after the day began to break.

I sat on my bed, thinking. What do I do?

It had been my plan initially to leave, but I never thought it would be so soon. I’m not even sure what my escape plan is.

I was only able to leave to get a checkup the other night because of Gael. And he only offered to do that because he knew I was coming back.

This time, I won’t. I can’t ask him for help—but at this point, what other choice do I have? This place was swarming with guards on all four walls.

There’s no way I can get in or out without anyone noticing.

And let’s say I do manage to miraculously escape—what then? Where will I go?

I still haven’t been able to find anything valuable that could take care of my child and me until I’m back on my feet.

Bloody hell.

Think, Soraya! Think!

A soft knock comes from my door, making my head snap toward it. The movement was so fast I’m surprised my

SORAYA’S POV I woke up feeling groggy and nauseous. The urge to throw up was what forced me out of bed, but when my eyes were suddenly drawn to the door, all feelings of nausea vanished in an instant. “What the actual fuck?” I asked, a look of bewilderment striking my features. I placed a hand over my head as I stared at Khai, leaning against the doorway in absolute disbelief. He had this sly grin on his lips that suggested he was up to no good. Without needing to say a word, I knew exactly what he had in mind—especially with the way his eyes raked my body with that insatiable hunger. Suddenly, a burst of energy flowed through my veins. I didn’t know if it was the morning sickness or the frustration of having him in the room, knowing full well what he wanted—but I didn’t care. “Why do you always have to show up at the most unexpected times? For fuck’s sake, can’t I get a damn break? What pleasure do you even derive from constantly humiliating me? You know I can’t res

SORAYA’S POV Her head snapped in all directions to make sure there was no one else in the room. Then she turned to me and leaned closer. “You mean escape? Like run away?” she whispered. I nodded. Her eyes widened. And just like that, the light in them vanished—replaced by fear. A dark one. “That is impossible. Even if anyone manages to get past the gates, Khai will find them,” Ellie said, her grip on my foot tightening. It was as though I had triggered some sort of trauma in her. “Then what the hell was all that crap in the pits the other day? About being free to walk out of his pack anytime we choose?” I asked. “We are not members of his pack, Soraya. We are his property. He owns us. Until he decides to willingly give you away, there is nothing you can do to escape him. If you tried to, that would be a slap to his face. An insult. And you’ve seen just a glimpse of what Khai does to those who insult him. He can do much worse,” she said, her voice growing shakier with eve

SORAYA’S POV “Good heavens, Soraya!” The next time I regained consciousness, it was at the sound of Ellie’s voice. She was standing by the door, eyebrows raised and eyes wide as she took in my condition. It took me a couple of seconds to realize what exactly my condition was. My vagina was laid out on full display. I shot off the floor to cover myself with my robe. My face heated with embarrassment as my eyelids pinched shut. The memory of Khai spreading my legs and burying himself in between them — in front of the other girls and Estella — came flashing through my mind. Once again, that man did not fail to make me his everyday slut. And that was exactly what I was to him — and he made sure everyone knew it. And the worst part of it all? I let it happen. I enjoyed every second of it. Again. My self-control was slowly slipping away with every passing second I spent with him. Perhaps this deadline Nyra had given me was not so bad. I did need to get out of

SORAYA’S POV His gaze could be felt a thousand miles away.Even without looking at him, I knew his attention was solely on me. Why? There were other girls dancing along with me. Why would he be paying all of his attention to me? And why on earth was he even here in the first place? Wasn’t he mad at me?“Estella, I think it is time the main lead learns the Alpha’s dance,” Khai said after an eternity of staring. And did he just say main lead? Me?Oh God, why was I the only one going through this torture? On hearing his words, our dance tutor nodded in absolute agreement, like an obedient slave.“Yes, Your Majesty. You are right. Soraya, step forward. The rest of you can take a break.”I screamed internally. The other girls sat closer to the wall on the floor, their eyes focused on Estella and me. My breath caught when a pair of large hands took hold of my waist from behind. The hairs on my neck stood as his scent filled my senses.Estella turned on the music box and a sweet melody fi

  • Pregnant And Claimed By The Wrong Alpha   CHAPTER 36: NYRA’S ULTIMATUM

SORAYA’S POV “I am happy to announce to you that your baby is just fine.” A smile lifted my lips at those words. I looked at the doctor with gratitude as my eyes stung. A part of me had feared that I may have suffered one complication or the other. I certainly have not been treated like a pregnant woman ever since the day I found out about it. But hearing this... was absolutely liberating. True to Ellie’s words, there was a clinic just a couple of streets away from the palace. It was small but surprisingly well-equipped and welcoming. I asked Gael to wait outside for me—and surprisingly, he did. He didn’t ask any questions or insist on coming in with me. He wasn’t even scared of the possibility that I could escape. Or maybe his mind hasn’t gone that far. Or maybe he just trusted me. Whatever it was, I was thankful. “Thank you, doctor...” I trailed off, trying to read the name on her tag. “Ivana,” she replied, a sweet smile on her lips. “Please ensure th
