*Samson*

Mrs. Roland parted her lips and muttered, “You can go. It’s not your fault. But Matilda is still my child. You corrupted her. So you have to take the blame for it.”

Maya frowned and rose to her feet. “Mom, how about me? How can you and Dad favour Matilda? She seduced my fiancé! She’s the one at fault here.”

Mrs. Roland rose to her feet and slapped Maya hard. Her palm connected with Maya’s cheek, surprising me too as she yelled, “Just shut the hell up, Maya. Matilda is your twin. Your fiancé ruined her, and you simply ask us to let it go. You can get another man to marry. You have the qualifications. But the only qualification your sister had, your fiancé stole. And you want him to get away with it. No way. Chief Dominic already proposed an arranged marriage to your father on your sister’s behalf, and we are still considering it because she’s clumsy and needs to have her own sustenance. That doesn’t make her less of a woman. Chief Dominic didn’t mind it and says so long as she’s a virgin, his son would cherish her. Now you ask us to do what? Who would marry her when she lacks brain and your fiancé already stole her pride?”

Maya couldn’t speak. She was too stunned to react. She dashed to the stairs and ran upstairs. I wanted to chase after her, but I simply couldn’t. It broke me to see her suffer.

“Samson,” Mrs. Roland’s sharp gaze fell on me. “You slept with my second daughter. I know you and Maya were in a relationship. But you must end it with her. Matilda is different. You took advantage of her, so you will have to marry her in Maya’s place. I will speak to Maya to make her understand.”

“Ma’am… I cannot marry Matilda. I don’t love her,” I wanted to speak, but Mrs. Roland glared at me.

“You should better be ready with your lawyer to defend yourself. Because we won’t let this slide. So the choice is yours.” She turned and walked away as she climbed the flight of stairs, her heels clicking sharply against the tiled stairs.

I stood transfixed in the living room. How do I marry a clumsy woman? What sort of cruel fate is this?

Seeing that no one was left in the living room to answer my questions, and as I spotted the maids peeking at me through the curtains, I marched away to the exit door and pulled it open.

The sun and wind greeted me and blew against my face as I marched away to my car.

I reached for my car key and unlocked the door. I caught the intense gaze of someone peeking at me through the window.

When I glanced back, I caught sight of Matilda standing there. At least now I know who she was. Did she sneak into my room on purpose? Did she know that I would be in that room, and she went there to make me sleep with her—to coerce me into marrying her? Was this her parents’ plan with her? To take me away from Maya and gift me to Matilda?

My fist clenched, holding my car door. My eyes glared hatred and resentment at Matilda, and she moved away from the window, shutting the curtain.

I sighed, plopped into my car, and tried to start it. Fortunately the stupid car ignited, and I cursed it for making me stay back at the Rolands’ mansion.

Once I fastened my seat belt, I drove out of the Rolands’ mansion and headed back to my father’s house to see him.

I wondered what explanation I would give to my father now. How do I explain to him that I don’t love Matilda? How do I tell him that she wasn’t clumsy and she purposely set me up? How do I escape the threat of my nude videos becoming public knowledge?

My fist tightened on the steering wheel as I navigated my way and drove back home to my father’s house. The city blurred past me as I sped off, driving home.

It was Saturday, so the road was busy with different market women and cars in the way. I slowed down my car and waited at the traffic light that signaled me to stop. My phone rang, but I didn’t bother to pick it up.

It rang again. As I saw that the traffic wasn’t going to clear up soon, I answered the phone and set it on loudspeaker.

“Bro, what the fụck did I hear? That you slept with the wrong twin?” Chris asked me, his voice booming with excitement. Of course I knew he wanted the CEO position. This was the right time for him to strike—to ask our father to kick me out of the company.

I could remember Chris telling me that a man’s downfall is a woman. Now I guessed he was expecting me to hand over.

“It’s what it is. Don’t think I will hand over the CEO position to you because of that little mistake. I cannot marry that clumsy woman. I love Maya and that’s final,” I declared, my voice firm.

Chris chuckled and asked me the dumbest questions. “How was she like? I mean, I have always thought of sleeping with two sisters and I haven’t gotten the opportunity too. At least now that you did, you could give me a theory. Was she hot? Tighter, or sweeter than your fiancée?”

My fist clenched around the steering wheel as the road cleared up. “Shut the fụck up. I cannot answer that stupid question. She’s a woman. How do I tell their differences?” I retorted, rage boiling in my veins.

“Don’t lie to me, Brother. I heard twins are different. Even though they are the same. You ought to have told them apart.”

“Honestly, I cannot. Though I would admit they were different. But I didn’t pay much attention to the details. I just know she was tight simply because it was her first time and not attributing to anything special. If she had had sex before, she wouldn’t have been different from Maya.”

“So you didn’t enjoy doing it with her?”

“Fụck off, Chris. If anything, I regretted doing it. She is not my fiancée. I don’t care if it was her first time. She made me mistake her, and she was clumsy enough to keep mute instead of telling me she isn’t my choice. When I saw her today, I don’t feel attracted to her. I’m irritated that I even got to touch her.”

The line fell silent and Chris asked, “So what do you want to do? Pay her off, apologize to Maya and continue with your fiancée? What if you had gotten the other twin pregnant?”

*Samson*“Samson, what the fụck did you do wrong?” Dad’s furious voice reverberated in my eardrums. My heart stilled as I knew that Mr. Roland had told him what happened.“Dad, I didn’t know she wasn’t my fiancée.”“And you slept with her in her father’s house. Don’t you have any shame? Have you seen the video? Get here quickly. Mr. Roland is threatening to sue you to court, and you know how much this will damage your reputation in the whole of Silvercrest City. Haven’t you thought of your reputation and our family’s honour?” Dad demanded, anger boiling in his tone.“Dad, I’m sorry. I know I made a mistake, but I cannot leave Maya to marry her twin sister. I cannot do that. I don’t love Matilda.”“Shut up. Just come home so we can discuss this. You won’t destroy my reputation and also the entire Finley Group. I give you thirty minutes to report here.”The call ended, the sound echoing in the room.Maya continued sobbing as she moved to sit on the bed. My eyes fell on the red bloodstai

*Samson*My throat tightened as I glared at Matilda, seeing her stare at me with large blue eyes like my fiancée’s. Looking at Matilda’s face, I couldn’t deny that she was pretty—more innocent than Maya, who was wild and stubborn.“Sir, I don’t love Matilda,” I steadied my voice and explained. “If I had known she wasn’t Maya, I wouldn’t have touched her,” I added, seeing the disappointed look on Matilda’s face. I had slept with her the previous night, yet I didn’t want to consider how passionately I had made love to her. My cọck hardened at the remembrance—the way her pụssy had held me captive, making me go round and round in pleasuring her like a pórn star. I hadn’t even pleasured Maya like that before. What exactly came over me? I was super excited after catching “Maya” on my bed. The smell of alcohol rolled off her. I should have known she was different. I should have demanded why she scented differently.Mr. Roland shook his head and retorted, “Samson, you will not sleep with Mati

*Samson*How the hell did I make that bloody mistake of sleeping with my fiancée’s sister?Last night was a blast. I had arrived in the evening for Maya’s birthday. It was fun. I even bought her an expensive Rolex watch for her birthday, as she had asked me to get the latest design for her. After the party ended late at night, my car developed a fault. And despite being a billionaire, I didn’t have a personal driver and drove around the city by myself.I had to ask Maya if I could stay the night, and she agreed, telling me her parents wouldn’t mind.I walked up and explained to Mr. Roland that I couldn’t drive home at that hour. He agreed and said I was welcome anytime.I hadn’t thought of making this bloody mistake. I had always wondered why the Rolands hid Matilda from the public, even though she was clumsy as they claimed. She was still an identical copy of Maya—same beauty and grace. I couldn’t tell them apart.Though Maya had a vanilla scent, Matilda smelled of lavender, and it h

*Matilda*Calvin stood speechless. Too stunned to speak or defend Maya.“Samson, explain yourself. How dare you sleep with my two daughters? Are you crazy?” Dad demanded furiously.Samson’s voice dropped into an apologetic tone as he responded, “I am sorry, Chief. I didn’t know she wasn’t Maya. I thought she was my fiancée. I regretted my actions and made a terrible mistake.” He lowered his head, his hands still resting on Maya’s shoulder as he was still hugging her.My father lost words to say. The matter weighed down on him.“You cannot marry two of my daughters. Matilda has never been with a man before and now, you ruined her. What do you think about this? That you will sleep with my daughter and get away with it?” Dad demanded furiously, and words caught in Samson’s throat as he glared at me.“Sir, I don’t love Matilda. If I knew that she wasn’t Maya, I wouldn’t have touched her,” Samson replied, his tone steady but firm. But my father shook his head.“You will not sleep with Mati

*Matilda*“What the hell happened here?” Maya’s loud shriek jolted me awake. First, my head ached from the hangover that I had from drinking too much alcohol. Before I could process why my sister was screaming, she pounced on me on the vast bed and pulled against my long blonde hair, screaming, “You fụcking bìtch! How dare you sleep with my man!”Slap!Slap! Her palms collided against my cheeks with a loud thud until a firm hand caught hers.“That’s enough, Maya! I’m sorry! I didn’t know she was your sister!” Samson’s apologetic tone filled the air as he stood there beside the bed. His firm hands carried Maya away as he glared at me.Hurried footsteps approached the door and swung it open. As my vision adjusted to the room, I realised my mistake. I wasn’t in my room. I was in the well-furnished guest room that my parents had set up for their guests—most especially Maya’s fiancé.How could I not know this? The door swung open, and my father, Vincent, and my elder brother, Calvin, a 28-
