CHAPTER 11

Carly, who was at the dining table, was just silent. Even though the food she loved was right in front of her eyes, her mind was nowhere to be found. Victor called her and said that tonight he was helping Ruby move.

Carly shouldn't have acted like this. She had said from the beginning that she trusted Victor; he would never cheat on her with a woman of unknown status.

"Miss, is there anything you need?" The chef came over to her.

"Ummh, nothing. I'm sorry, I'm not in the mood for food tonight. You can take care of it." Carly stood up from the table.

Carly walked up the stairs to the second floor. Continuing through the hallway and opening a large door, a swimming pool was not far from her current position. She stepped inside and walked towards the pool, which was bordered by a glass barrier.
