Dacre’s pov

I entered the room as i closed the door behind me.

It was nice and quiet. The lights dimmed, and air conditioning – cold. Just how I liked it. I took off my suit jacket and just let it fall down onto one of the chairs that was in the room; not like anyone used them anyway.

Taking my time undressing myself, I took off my shirt and hung it in the wardrobe closet.

Then I thought of what to wear. Something simple? I thought about this for a few minutes before ultimately deciding that yes, something normal was good.

Black t-shirt, grey pants, no gold or shine. That should work.

Just a normal gentleman with a normal dressing.

I hadn’t even gotten halfway through pulling wearing my shirt when there was soft knocking against my door.

“Who is it?” I said, loud enough.

“It’s security, sir,” a voice replied.

I unlocked the door to see one of my guards standing there.

“Speak,” i said in vexed tone.

“Your mother is here, sir.”

I closed my eyes for a second and released a slow breath.
