Chapter 2

OLIVIA'S POV

I wept stupidly holding my father's knees as I pleaded for Mercy. The code of the pack was never toyed with by anyone not even the my father who was the alpha and if he gave his judgment, it was final.

I was his daughter, but I was never treated like on, being the only omega among alpha relations had its downsides but being a wolfless one at that came with grave Misfortunes. 

"Don't listen to her father, let's take her to court!" Emma said wickedly adding fuel to the fire. She was favourite daughter after all, He would listen to her.

"Please father, I beg of you, I didn't do it intentionally, I promise i would never put our reputation at stake." I had to plead harder if I was going to escape this dilemma. 

"Fine,get up." He said and I rushed up quickly wiping the tears under my eyes.

"I give you one month to find the man who did this and bring him to me, He defied you so he must take responsibility. You have one month Olivia if you're unable to bring him to me be ready to face the consequences!" He said commandingly causing shivers down my spine. I bowed with a nod and watched him leave with no other comment.

"You slutty bitch don't think you've escaped, I'll make sure Father punishes you!" Emma uttered as she glared at me.

"What are you saying Emma, why do you hate me so much?" I asked almost tearing up again. Ever since I could remember, Emma just hated me, she was always bitter and spiteful to me for reasons I don't know.

"Shut up!" she shot and hissed storming out suddenly. 

I took in a sharp breath as I slumped into the bed, burying my face in my palm, Where do i start to search for the stranger? I didn't know his name or anything.

oh goddess Was I cursed or what?

"Please just tell me the owner, this cheque belongs to your company right, I just need the name of the man who took it." I said with frustration showing the lady behind the desk the cheque. 

"You've been here for the past three weeks madam and I keep telling you, we can't share confidential information about our clients, you think you can keep coming and asking then one day I'll give it no way, we've had many you who aren't satisfied with their pay and then try to find the clients again, gold diggers." She said nonchalantly giving me her side eyes as she whispered the last words. 

In a fit of rage I raised my hand and slapped her hard across the cheek. "I have been pleading with you but you don't seem to listen, who are you to call me a gold digger do you know me?!!"

"You're Alpha David defied daughter, everyone knows who are you, you're so desperate you're ready to pin your stupidity on any man's head, i won't give you the details keep shouting!" she snapped jumping on her feet as she gulped her eyes out to me.

I groaned frustratedly, holding my head from falling. For weeks I searched but I couldn't find the he-wolf and the only lead I had was the blank cheque he gave to me.

I had little time left, how would I find him if my only lead is a stupid blank cheque and a reluctant Receptionist.

"Get lost already!" she said with disgust shooing me off like I was a pest.

"You can't–."

"What's going on here?!" i stopped as a feminine voice blasted my ears, her sharp elegant dress and high class hand bag were the first thing I picked the minute she stepped in.

"Oh goodness, greetings Luna Diana." The Receptionist greeted as she stood, I could see the fear and shock in her eyes.

Luna Diana of the New Moon's pack? what was she doing here?

"Is that how you treat people in my company, what were you saying to her?" Her soft voice sounded so sharp and Dominating, the girl flinched In her spot.

"She keeps coming here asking for information about some man she slept with Luna, I know this kind of ladies she's just cheap, that's it!" her nerve! I would have replied but before I could Luna Diana landed a hot befitting slap on her cheeks.

"Get out of my sight, you're fired!" she snapped and the tubit blabber mouth ran off in tears.

"I apologise for her behaviour, tell me dear what do you need?" she asked her tone oddly soft, She didn't know me but the way she held my hand and starred at me felt like she already knew me.

"I..I'm looking for someone." I said slowly pulling my hand away from hers, The weird soft look she gave me crept me out. 

"Why don't I take you to my home and we discuss this better, I don't think you would want to go back to your home without any breakthrough." She said slowly and I agreed. Maybe she had some useful information that would help me find the man.

Upon getting to her home, I was awed by the magnitude of Servants they had. The New moon's pack were known for their extraordinary riches and wealth, the most Feared pack in all of New Zealand. they were Feared because of their Alpha. The Ruthless Alpha Mateo.

Who didn't know of him?

"Son I would like you to meet someone." Luna Diana's loud call pulled me out of my thoughts as I turned to her.

my eyes darted around for him, half scared to finally meet the almighty Alpha but he wasn't my main priority. 

"Luna Diana, I really–." I said turning towards the door for a glimpse but my head dumped into a hard wall. But this wall was soft and he had arms too.

"watch it." He said his voice oddly Familair and so was his scent, the same Irish Scent the man from that night had.

I starred keenly at him but all I got was a steel mask starring back at me. But his eyes...

"Do I know you?" I mumbled staggering backward as my head suddenly felt heavy on my neck. I held it up to find balance but the room spiralled and I almost crashed but his arms saved my fall.

"Hey, hey." I heard him say as he tapped my cheeks but my eyes only got weaker and it finally went shut. The last thing I saw were his eyes before darkness took over.
