MATEO'S POV

“You..you mean it?” Olivia stammered in disbelief as she kept barting her lashes at me.

I nodded slowly as I led her back to sit with me. All I needed from was closure from Ella , which I finally got and now I was ready to start my life again.

Who else would i start it with, if not Olivia. She was my wife and even though it was merely on paper I was ready to change that.

“Your heart belongs to someone else mateo, don't lose her.” Ella's words resounded in my ear again and it made me realise who it was I really needed.

Olivia.

I made mistakes with her but now I was ready to rectify them, starting with that contract.

“I am sorry for how I treated you in the past Olivia, I was angry at myself and i let that angry cloud my judgment, I should never have made you sign those papers and I am sorry.” I never imagined this day would come, that I, Mateo would apologise for something I did knowingly.

What was I even thinking?!
