Maison sensed Zivon’s emotional dissatisfaction, so he pulled Zivon’s hand and asked, “Daddy, are you unhappy?”

Zivon gathered his thoughts and looked at Maison as he said, “No.”

He then deliberately emphasized the tone of his voice as if he had just thought of something. He then made his point and said, “Uncle Talton said that he is going to send your aunt home just now. He is still waiting for her downstairs. You should understand what this means, right? Do you know what you should do?”

Maison rolled his black eyes once before he suddenly understood what was going on. He said clearly, “I got it! What daddy means is that I should help!”

This kid was his biological child after all!

Zivon patted Maison’s head and hummed lightly. “Smart boy. Put on a good performance.”

“Mm-hmm!” Maison nodded solemnly.

The sound of Xavia’s rapid footsteps sounded.

Zivon stood up as if nothing had happened. After that, he sat down at the desk to sort out Maison’s books as if nothing was going on.
