When Chloe was brought into the living room, I barely recognized her. Her clothes were filthy, her hair was tied back carelessly, her skin looked sallow, and dark circles bruised the space under her eyes. Diane Hale froze. Then she burst out laughing."Are you out of your mind? Grant told us himself that Chloe is carrying his baby. Who do you think you are?
