Xaviers point of view.

“That was crazy,” I said to Nyra as we exit the bedroom, leaving Kelly to rest.

“Yeah, I feel bad for Kells. She worked so hard today only for her to get injured for a stupid reason.”

“Hey—hey look, I know you, don’t go blaming yourself for this, it was a freak accident. We’ll just try to be more careful from now on to prevent this from happening again.”

“Okay—fineahhh” she said rolling her eyes in that cute way I loved.

I walked her to the door of my bedroom I offered her to sleep in.

“Are you really going to sleep in the living room? You know there’s enough space for both of us in the bedroom.”

“I don’t mind really its fine.” I answered

“Xavier?” her tone made me look up.

“I offered Kelly the room to make her feel comfortable.” She continued. “That doesn’t mean you have to suffer out there in the cold.”

“Nyra, it’s just a couch,”

“Well, it’s a terrible couch. She countered, “Come with me.”

I stood before her, looking deep into her eyes and realized too late an

Xaviers point of view.I don’t remember when we leave the ballroom.I just remember Nyra’s arm around me, my weight leaning into her as if my body had finally accepted what my pride hadn’t—that I got beaten by her Ex.“Easy,” she murmured as we stepped into the elevator. “I’ve got you.”I hated that I did.My apartment door barely clicked shut before my legs gave out. She guided me to the bed, firm and gentle at the same time. Whispering words of comfort to me.“We have to get you to the hospital,” she said, already tugging off my jacket. “Xavier, this isn’t optional.”“No.” I caught her wrist. Too fast. Too sharp. “Please. Not tonight.”She searched my face, clenching her jaw. Then she nodded once. “Fine. But you listen to me.”She helped me lie back and undressed me carefully, her fingers light as she peeled away fabric. She cleaned the cuts on my face, pressed ice where it hurt most. Her focus never wavered, but I could tell—she was shaken up too. When she finished, she sat on the

  • Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir   Gala girl

Nyra’s point of view.I had just stepped away from Xavier, and make my way to the bathroom still feeling the buzz of the champagne clinging to my skin, when a familiar presence cuts into my space.I didn’t need to turn around.“Red,” Ardonis said quietly. “It suits you.”I faced him before I could stop myself. He looked… different tonight. Tired, yes—but sharper too. His tall, lean frame fitted the three-piece suit perfectly. He looked like sin itself and his gaze lingered on me, slow and heated in a way that made my spine stiffen despite myself.“Don’t,” I said. “You can’t walk around saying things like that to your superiors.”“Things like what?” he asked, lips curving slightly. “Tell the truth?”I crossed my arms giving up. “What do you want, Ardonis?”His eyes flicked past me, scanning the crowd. “Where’s your son?”My chest tightened instantly. “That’s none of your business. And even if it was, why would a child even be at an event like this?”He frowned. “I Dunno? I just thought

  • Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir   Murder in the woods

Ardonis’ point of view.“Don’t move,” I look around frantically. It’s my mother. Her otherwise beautiful face is marred with harsh lines and a bloodied gash on her forehead. Her hand appears suddenly on my shoulders, gripping hard, pushing me behind a stone wall half-swallowed by vines. Her face is pale but calm in the way only mothers manage when they’re terrified.“Whatever happens,” she says, voice shaking just enough to betray her, “you stay hidden.”I want to argue. I want to ask where my father is. I want to tell her I’m not a child. But then I hear them.Heavy boots, loud voices. Armed men shouting orders I don’t understand. “KILL THEM BUT, THE BOY MUST BE TAKEN ALIVE.”My mother presses her forehead to mine. “Listen to me, you have to go on without me.”I don’t want to leave her all alone to face those monsters. She steps away from the wall.“Run,” she tells me without looking back.I don’t remember deciding to move. My awkward pubescent body just does. I am about thirteen. I

  • Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir   Sweet Kisses

Xavier’s point of view.I wake up to quiet. The memories of Nyra and I come flashing immediately the food, laughter, slight touches here and there, am I imagining things or is she warming up to me.I shower, get dressed and head downstairs to the dining area. The smell of toast, bacon and fruit comes in from the kitchen. Lucien is already at the table, little legs swinging, his nanny Abbey, is sitting beside him with a cup of tea.“Morning,” I say.Lucien grins. “Uncle Xavier!”Abbey smiles politely. “Good morning, sir. Miss Nyra left already.”That stops me right on my tracks.“Already?” I repeat.“She had early meetings,” Abbey adds. “She asked me to tell you.”Lucien frowns. “Mama didn’t say bye to me.”I comfort him. “Don’t worry buddy, I’m sure your mommy will make it up to you later with lots and lots of kisses when she gets back.”He laughs his hearty, beautiful laughter.I ruffle his hair. “I’ll see you later, champ.”He nods, already distracted by his cereal. As I leave the h

  • Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir   Summer blues

Nyra’s point of view.I tell myself it’s just tiredness. That if I stop thinking about it, the way Xavier’s hand lingered on my lower back last night or how easily Lucien laughs around him, the feeling will pass. But it doesn’t.The park is bright this afternoon, way too bright for the kind of thoughts running through my head. Children are everywhere. Couples. Normal people living normal lives. Xavier walks beside me, hands in his pockets, sunglasses on, looking relaxed in a way that still surprises me.“This place still, okay?” he asks in that charming way of his.I nod. “Yeah. Lucien loves it here.”Lucien runs ahead, already chasing pigeons like they owe him money. I smile despite myself.Xavier watches him with that soft look he gets when he thinks I’m not paying attention. The one that makes my chest tighten in ways I refuse to analyze too deeply. We sit on a bench. Our knees brush. It’s nothing. But at the same time, it’s everything.I think about the island. About the late nigh

  • Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir   Bonds of Oracle

Ardonis point of view. The mood in the chamber feels different this time. There is no laughter. No mocking smiles. No smug certainty. The elders sit in a tight circle, their faces drawn, their voices low. The air itself feels strained, like everyone in the entire clan is holding its breath. One of the elders speaks first. “There have been three more cases since the last meeting.”Another adds quietly, “Two elders.”A murmur ripples through the room.I straighten slowly. “Then it’s confirmed,” he says. “This isn’t random. We’re being targeted.”Eyes turn toward me.“The disease is spreading too precisely,” I continue. “And now rival clans are circling A new leader has emerged. We don’t know who he is yet but I’ve received reports from Europe, from the East. Territories are being contested. There have been more killings.”Fear flickers openly now.Lord Marcus rises from his seat. My uncle looks older than I remember, the weight of centuries pressing into his spine. Immortality be damned
