Chapter 31 - Payne enterprises

Alec POV

“Mr Hardy, what a pleasure”, I hear as soon as I walk into the office. I look around to see around ten men, I don’t know who they are. I smile politely and walk to the end of the table where my name is set on a sign. I undo my suit jacket with one hand as I place my briefcase on the table in front of me.

“Gentleman, it is a pleasure”, I say as I take a sit and everyone follows me. They start introducing themselves as the board of the Payne enterprise. I nod my head to each one of them after them telling me who they are and exactly their roles. I hate this sort of meetings, they are boring and not productive. But it needed to be done.

After an excruciating meeting I leave towards my new office and I look inside to see London’s amazing view through the window that is behind my desk.
