"Hold on to me, Sweetheart," Blair ordered, kneeling on one knee while trying to feel the ground with both her hands. I did what I was told and placed my right hand on her left shoulder, and she closed her eyes.
I know she is trying to get us away from the werewolves that are about to come close to our location. We can't get into more trouble, and we don't know if this large number of supernatural beings are friendly.
When I opened my eyes, I saw the sight of darkness, but using my vampire form, I could see clearly. Then suddenly, there was light coming from my mate's hand that then went floating around while regenerating smaller ones. It's not the flame that she usually uses.
