Chapter 12: Too Late To Save

Twenty five hours later, Jack was back at the apartment, watching it from a distance and shaking his head, because it had now become a crime scene. He could not believe his eyes.

He had not even noticed that his car- the one he shared with Mario had been dismantled by whoever attacked Bianca.

Just yesterday, the three good-for-nothings were arguing about the situation at hand- Belle or no Belle, and now the one who was captured by them- Bianca, was nowhere to be found.

Once he ran into five different hospitals and she wasn’t in any, he had given up, checked in an hotel, and texted Mario all about it, because he was not taking his calls.

Then, he sat for twenty four long hours asking himself how stupid he could be, and waiting to report her missing.

“I could have plucked his hair for an evidence ,” He thought, his mind retracting back to the precious encounter with the strange man. “or chased him at least.”

But stupidly instead, he had run off to all hospitals that came to mind,
