"Eldrid! Beautiful fire." He spoke as he tasted her name on his lips.

"It's a good match for you." He said, and she returned her gaze to the plate of food.

"Why did you hide from me?" After a brief pause, he inquired. She did not respond.

"You could have informed me. I wouldn't have judged you or looked down on you no matter what. You are my mate!" He slammed his fist on the table in frustration and she looked up. 

"Fine, I'm an assassin. I kill people without knowing who they are, what they did wrong. I just kill because I was told to. There now you know!" She said cutting through her waffles.
