Luke's POVIt's been a few days since I lost my baby and since then I've moved into Valentino's room. I've always slept beside him anyway, so it just made sense that I move into his room. I'm currently arranging my toiletries in the bathroom. I opened the cupboard and moved Val's toiletries to the side to make space for mine. As I moved the bottle, I noticed a small plastic pouch behind it. Inside was pills, it was the same as the bright pink pill that I took with the vitamins that Valentino gave me. I took the small plastic pouch and inspected it. My brows furrowed as I inspected the small bag of pills. Why would it be hidden in here if it was my vitamins? Luke was playing with my hand, tracing the outline of my tattoos. I knew I had to do something with Dr. Silvano, I can't let her tell Luke the truth. Luke's POVI look out the car window as we make our way back home. I refused to even glance back even a little bit at Valentino. Somehow having this much freedom as I used to is more frustrating than being held captive for the last eight years. It's like I'm only given a false sense of freedom. I could feel Valentino's gaze fall on me from time to time, but I kept ignoring him.As soon as the car stopped upon reaching the mansion, I quickly scrambled to get out. I ran to the main doors, pushing them open to let myself in. I walked into the mansion and froze when I saw Dr. Silvano in front of me. Luke’s POVI sat on the bed after Emilio left the room. I wanted to agree with him, but the prospect of freedom has become far fetch. Agreeing with Emilio would not alleviate any uncertainty, but it will give me even an ounce of freedom. Not agreeing with Emilio would probably bring a lifetime of what-ifs. I let my body fall back onto the bed as I stare at the ceiling, contemplating whether to agree to escape with Emilio or not.The door suddenly opened, making me shoot up from the bed. Valentino walked into the room and closed the door behind him. I scrambled on the bed until my back hit the headboard. Valentino cautiously approaches me as I look at him in fear. Luke’s POV"I love you, Luke." Valentino suddenly blurted out.I stare at him in disbelief. I've never heard those words without something in return. I moved my head to the side, avoiding Valentino's gaze. Fear suddenly enveloped me. I tried standing up, pushing Valentino away from me, but Valentino held me in place. "You don't have to say it back. Just know that I do." He told me before placing a kiss on my forehead. "You don't," I said as I look him in the eyes. "You don't love me. Nobody does."Valentino let out a sigh before getting off of the bed. "I'll prepare you a bath." He said before going into the bathroom. I lay on my side, my back facing the bathroom door as tears started to flow down my face. I suddenly felt conflicted. I'm given chance to leave and finally be free or stay with a person who loves me. Third Person POVLuke was settled on the bed with Valentino's arms wrapped around him. Valentino was still awake, stroking Luke's hair as he sleeps. Valentino wasn't going to let anyone take Luke away from him. He knew he had to claim him. His eyes landed on the marks he left on Luke's neck, a smile spreading across his face. Luke was his, and only his. No one else.Valentino slowly pulled away from Luke, pulling the covers over his shoulder. Valentino got out of bed, making sure to not wake up Luke from his sleep. Luke's POVI was sitting beside Valentino as the plane begins to land. Valentino held my hand as I look out the window, enjoying the view as we descend to land. The landscape of Italy was finally coming into view, and I couldn't help but think of what the view would've been if I went with Emilio instead. I know Valentino asked him to come with us to Italy, but he isn't here. I wonder if he pushed through with his plan already."Where's Emilio? I thought he was coming with us?" I opened the panel and called out to the driver."Get us some shirts as we reach the mansion," I told him, and he nods, and I closed the panel again.We soon pulled up to the driveway of the main house.
