Valentino's POV

Luke's settled in between my legs with his back pressed against my chest. We were back in my room after the earlier events. Luke was playing with my hand, tracing the outline of my tattoos. I knew I had to do something with Dr. Silvano, I can't let her tell Luke the truth. I knew Luke would believe me, no matter what I say. For now, Luke's convinced I have nothing to do with it. Given that people around us are already aware of what Luke means to me, it's easy to put the blame on someone else.
