Katyana sat at her table in the tavern 'Holes' chugging down her mug of Gharane. Rhae spoke softly, "You could have killed him." Katyana put her mug down softly, giving Rhae a look. Rhae spoke again, "Why didn't you?"
Katyana sighed, "He was merely being used as a demonstration to his guild members. You don't have to kill everyone to get what you want. To be honest, I kind of hate that part of myself. The part that enjoyed what I just did." Katyana was shocked with herself slightly. She usually kept that detail to herself, part of an assassination guild, no matter how little business they got. She was supposed to love killing people, like many others in her guild did. Rhae looked past Katyana, lost in her thoughts. Katyana supposed that Rhae would be the type who enjoys murder, enjoys the hunt, like the majority of the people from the Henla guild. It took a lot of distancing yourself from reality to be the best killer. But Katyana didn't want to be t
Icran felt a headache coming on; he felt dizzy and sick. He knew one thing though, his connection with Rhae was fading. He knew Katyana had taken her out; he let it happen so that Rhae could calm down a little. But something was wrong, and it made him pissed. Before he could stop himself, he was pulling on his cloak and abandoning the sleeping, naked woman in his bed. He followed the tugging of his bond with Rhae, charging down the streets and pushing away anyone in his path. One tiny thing could send him into a rage, so he was careful not to speak to anyone in his path. Icran finally came upon Rhae, Katyana and- he paused. The princess, what the hell is she doing here? The girls were sitting on a bench with two men leaning over the group, grinning. One of the men was twirling Rhae's new dark, wavy hair. Icran began charging towards the men, ready to destroy them. Before he grabbed their attention, the man twirling Rhae's hair pulled it to make her look
Lya was staring at her map of the kingdom, placing a little black statue in one of the regions of the 3rd ring. Only two left to search, and she was running out of men. Groups had been targeted somehow, never returning from their search. A shout rang out from the wall's gate, "It's the princess!" Lya jumped over the bench from her checkpoint near the gate and sprinted to the now opening iron gates. Aynyra stood at the opening, attempting to stand tall, but Lya could see the embarrassment in her eyes. Lya stomped over to Aynyra and grabbed her by her ear, dragging her inside the wall. At Aynyra's protest, Lya released her ear only to grab her wrist in a tight, unforgiving grip.Aynyra felt sorry for her friend, knowing that she had been worrying for hours, so Aynyra followed without struggle, even allowing herself to be pushed to sit on the ottoman at the end of her bed. Lya disappeared into the closet, returning to throw a gown onto the bed. She ducked into the bathroom
Kaia sat in the dining hall next to Lynn, eating some of the best food she has had in a while. Lynn gave her a sideways glance which didn't go unnoticed. "What is it, Lynn?""You're training has been great so far, but its just not perfect yet," Lynn sighed."I know that, but we have time right?" Kaia said, putting a hot chip in her mouth."Not really, Rhae is leaving today to take the hit on the Queen and we have to go with her to make sure everything goes smoothly. Don't worry, we will be there with you, but maybe we should get in another session today." Lynn faked a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes."Wait, I get to see Rhae today?" Kaia's eyes gleamed with excitement.Lynn chuckled, "You get to see her, yes, but you don't get to speak to her, or go near her for that matter."Kaia grumbled, "Why not? I haven't been able to speak to her for days."Lynn sighed again, "Icran says we can't let you two near each other, n
Icran couldn't go back to Rhae's room again. He loved the feeling of dominance it gave him when he pinned her to the wall. He'd be too tempted to pin her down again and dominate her. So instead, he sent someone else to fetch her and bring her to his office so he could brief her on the plan. Though that seemed to be a mistake as well since as soon as she had entered the room in her skin tight black bodysuit and cloak, he wanted to bend her over his desk and admire that pretty little ass. He would probably fuck her as well. "That's not the outfit I gave you earlier," he drawled. "It restricted my movement too much, I had to wear something more... comfortable," Rhae rolled her eyes at his penetrating stare. "Fine, I suppose it will do." Icran proceeded to go over the plan while Rhae sat in the chair opposite his desk and put her feet up, leaning back. Icran's anger only grew as he went over the plan and it became apparent that Rhae wasn't listening. "So after it's all d
Lya stepped into Princess Aynyra's room. She was hesitant to enter the room, to bring Aynyra's mood down further than it already was. Lya didn't even want to share the news until they caught who did it, but her father insisted that she be told immediately, allowing her time to grieve before the funeral that was set for tomorrow. In Lya's opinion, the King didn't even care about his wife's death. She couldn't tell Aynyra that though, all she had to do was tell her that her mother had passed merely hours ago. She had to be there to support her friend through her grief, instead of scouring the city for the ones who did it. Lya had her suspicions of who it was, that rogue guild that was stirring up trouble was at the top of her list. Particularly since they had been hanging around Aynyra. It was too late to back out now, Aynyra had looked up from her book and smiled. "Hey Lya," she lay her book down and stood up, practically skipping towards her friend. When she was a coup
Rhaenyx grinned, looking down at Aynyra's terrified expression, "Hello, princess." Aynyra couldn't believe it. Rhaenyx had just chased her through the gardens and up to the gates. Rhaenyx was plain evil, yet there she was, grinning as wide as the Cheshire cat. "You... You're an ass Rhaenyx." Rhaenyx held out her hand to lift Aynyra off the wet ground, supporting her weight, "It's Rhae, and you looked terrified, princess." Aynyra chuckled to herself, her doubt in Rhae melting away as if they had been friends forever, "Fine, Rhae. I almost wet myself because of you." Rhaenyx chuckled, but Aynyra could see the smile didn't extend all the way to her eyes. She didn't get the wrinkles in the corner of her eyes. Rhaenyx saw in Aynyra's face that she noticed, so before Aynyra could ask a question, she quickly interrupted. "Come on, you gotta be freezing, go inside and have a warm bath." Rhaenyx wanted to escape the situation, not let on to Aynyra that s
Lya stood raised above the other guards in the room. Preparing to give her speech, she drew in a long breath. "Princess Aynyra has gone missing. We believe that whoever took out the Queen has also taken Aynyra. We need to find her before the same thing happens to her." Lya refused to add that she was probably already dead. She wanted to hold onto any hope that she could. "You now have permission to raid every single house, guildhall and business to look for any sign that the princess was there. Do what you have to. Find her." Lya used her final words to dismiss the guards and begin the manhunt on the princess. Her next step was to let the grieving king know that not only his wife was dead, but his daughter missing. She had already directed increased security around the King and the Prince as well as constant patrols in the castle and castle gardens. Lya made her way through the castle to the King's chamber, where the King had remained hidden since the passing of his wife. She
Rhae couldn't bear to see Aynyra after what Icran told her. She knew where Aynyra was already so she could hold off for a couple of days and let the princess enjoy her peace before Icran got suspicious. So in the meantime, she would get very, very drunk. Rhae sauntered down to the guild bar and began ordering pints ofGharane. She cheered, drank, sang and danced with the guild members, feeling the poison flood her system and melt her body until she could no longer feel it. Her vision danced and blurred, the lights mixing together to create a beautiful array across her eyes. It was the best feeling of her life, until she heard the music die and the crowd seemed to spin less. She focused her eyes until she could make out a shape angrily marching towards her."Turn the music back on, bitches!" Rhae screamed laughing and jumping when the music livened again and the crowd began to dance and jump in the figure's path. She lifted up her mug and chugged the rest o
