**POV: Cassandra**

I woke up the next day with unbearable pain, as if an invisible force were crushing my abdomen. The room was dark and silent except for the muffled sound of my own labored breathing. I tried to get up, but the pain paralyzed me, and I realized I was lying in a cold, damp pool. My blurry vision fixed on the red stains around me.

"No... no... no," I whispered, trying to understand what was happening. It felt like my body was being battered, with multiple spasms making me cry out in pain. I took a deep breath, hoping the pain would pass, but it only intensified, causing me to writhe on the bed.

Then I heard hurried footsteps and distant voices. The bedroom door burst open, and a group of doctors entered, their faces serious and concerned.

"Cassandra, what happened?" asked one of the doctors who had been monitoring my pregnancy since I discovered it.

"I... I feel a lot of pain," I managed to say, but my voice came out weak. "I think... something is wrong."

The doctors moved around me, quickly examining me. When one of them lifted my dress, there was a large pool of blood. Seeing that, I panicked. They gave me medication to ease the pain and performed a quick cleanup of the area. After a few minutes that felt like an eternity, the lead doctor approached, his eyes showing a sadness he couldn't hide. "I'm sorry, Cassandra," he said, his voice firm and serious. "You lost the twins. The situation was critical, and unfortunately, we couldn't prevent the... well..." He swallowed hard, struggling to say that I had just suffered a miscarriage.

His words hit like a punch to the gut, and I felt a wave of shock and sadness envelop me, despite all my efforts to carry the pregnancy to term. In the end, it was all in vain! The reality of what had happened began to sink in, and I lay there, motionless, as the emotional pain seemed to surpass my physical agony.

"I'm very sorry," the doctor continued, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder. "We're here to help you through this."

I just nodded, unable to find words. The only thing I managed to say at that moment was, "Where is Sebastian?"

Everyone fell silent. No one around dared to answer. My heart raced even more, and then one of the doctors, hesitant, finally spoke:

"He hasn't returned to the pack house yet... Calm down, Luna, you lost a lot of blood and need to rest." The nurse covered me with a sheet. At that moment, filled with pain, I knew exactly what that meant.

Hours later, Sebastian entered the room, his face stiffening as he saw the blood on the sheet. He walked over to me, but I could barely look at him. I was leaning against the pillow, exhausted both physically and emotionally.

"You promised," I whispered, my voice weak and gasping. "You promised that everything would be alright... We've been waiting for this for five years, and you destroyed everything!" I murmured, pointing to my belly, knowing how difficult it had been to get pregnant during this period.

"I'm so sorry, Cassie... We can have other children..." he said, sitting beside me and trying to touch my hand, but I pulled it away, angrily wiping away my tears.

"No... we can't. This pregnancy was high-risk, and I tried for five years. The doctor told me I probably won't be able to have children anymore... So, tell me what happens now? Are you going to reject me and be with my younger sister?" I asked, resigned to the possibility.

"Cassandra, you are my wife and Luna of this pack... but... Emily is my fated mate, and I can't resist the mate bond; it's too strong. I need to claim her and make her mine officially," he said seriously.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked, confused by what I was hearing. I expected to be rejected.

"We have to make this work, all three of us," Sebastian said, his voice firm and relentless. My eyes widened when he suggested the possibility of sharing my husband with my younger sister. “What if I don't accept? You must be crazy! You want to have both sisters?” I opened my eyes, full of rage, emphasizing each word. “I'd rather you reject me and set me free than have to endure you cheating on me every day in the next room with my own sister! If you have any consideration for me, let me go. You are humiliating me in front of the entire pack!” I murmured, nervous and indignant.

“Cassandra, you have no choice! I am the Alpha, and I have decided that I will have both of you. From now on, you will have to accept this arrangement. I will not reject you, but I will not let go of Emily either. She is mine, and I want her by my side, just like you. The wedding with Emily will be in two hours. I have already instructed my Beta to prepare everything. You will not be forced to attend the wedding, but it would mean a lot to us if you cooperated. From today, your sister will become my second wife, here, in our house. And you will accept it, whether you like it or not!” he declared, his voice cold and full of disdain.

“You can't be serious! I will never accept this. You just want an excuse to bring your mistress into this house, giving her a position that doesn’t even exist!” I shouted, my eyes filled with tears and anger.

“Shut up! You don’t have that option,” he growled, approaching me with a threatening look. “You will learn to share. As your Alpha, I order you to accept this and submit to my will!”

“No... I will never forgive you for causing the death of our children,” I murmured quietly, my eyes burning with fear and pain. I looked at the mark on my neck and regretted the day I allowed him to mark me, believing his false promises.

“What did you say, Cassandra?” Sebastian’s eyes narrowed, his voice laden with command. He was using his Alpha power over me, and no matter how hard I tried to resist, he was stronger than me.

“Yes… Alpha…” I replied, my lips trembling and my eyes burning with fear and pain. “I submit to your command.”

Pov cassandraThe walls of the dungeon were cold and damp, and the smell of mold filled the air, mingling with the bitter taste of despair that refused to leave me. I sat in the dark corner of the cell, arms wrapped around myself, trying to suppress the trembling that overtook me. The chains on my wrists were heavy, but not as heavy as the weight of the accusations hanging over me.The echo of firm footsteps interrupted the oppressive silence. I lifted my head, quickly wiping away the tears that had fallen without my permission. I couldn’t appear weak, not in front of him. And there he was, Alpha Damon, standing outside the bars, wearing that cold, mocking smile that made me want to scream."What do you want here?" I asked, my voice firmer than I had expected. He entered the cell with the confidence of someone who knew they were in control. "You know why I’m here, Cassandra," he began, his tone calm but laced with venom. "I want you to take responsibility for the deaths."My hands cle

**Xavier's POV**Days had passed since the dust of war had settled, and I was finally crowned king. A grand ceremony took place, filled with ancient rituals and solemn words, but for me, the most significant moment was when Cassandra, by my side, received the crown of Luna. As the weight of gold was placed upon her head, I knew that, despite everything, she was my anchor, the reason why all of this was worth it.I looked at her, admiring her strength, even after all she had endured. There was an undeniable sadness in her eyes, but also a determination that made me believe that together we could overcome anything. After the coronation, my focus shifted to rebuilding the pack. The palace, devastated by the conflicts, began to be restored. The wounded soldiers received care, and the people returned to their homes. I made it a point to visit the families who had lost loved ones, offering help and ensuring that the future would be different. I promised myself that my leadership would be ma

The pain of childbirth had been excruciating, but nothing could compare to the wave of love that washed over me when I heard that fragile, delicate cry for the first time. My baby was here, in my arms, so small, so perfect. He was a boy. A beautiful, healthy boy, with eyes that, although newly opened, seemed to gaze directly at me. His skin, still red from the effort of entering the world, glowed under the flickering light of the flames illuminating the sky in the distance."My love... my boy..." I whispered, tears streaming down my face as I cradled him to my chest. Even with my body still aching from the pains of childbirth, I couldn’t take my eyes off him. I kissed his small forehead, feeling the warmth of his skin, and silently thanked the goddess of the moon for giving us this moment, even amid the chaos. But the moment of peace was brutally interrupted. The door was smashed open with a crash, and a group of men entered, their faces dirty and filled with hatred. I instinctively h

**Alpha Xavier's POV**The smell of gunpowder and blood filled the air as we led the attack on the central hall. I could hear the echoes of our wolves' howls mixed with the cries of resistance from Alpha Valetim's guards. Everything was going according to plan — we were surrounding the palace, closing off all escape routes.Ahead of me, one of Valetim's army commanders trembled, his eyes darting quickly over the men surrounding him. His breathing was heavy, and I could see the sweat dripping down his face."You’re surrounded," I said firmly, my deep voice cutting through the air. "It’s no use resisting. This isn’t just a battle, it’s the revolt of the people. Your tyranny, and that of King Valetim, is over. There’s no way out for you. Surrender and open the gates."He hesitated, gripping his sword with trembling hands. I could see the conflict in his eyes — a mix of fear and desperate loyalty. Before he could respond, one of my men advanced, pressing the sharp point of a blade against

*POV Cassandra*As I followed the servant through the dark corridors, we heard the unmistakable sound of Alpha Valetim’s voice echoing nearby. He was coming toward us. My heart nearly stopped, and for a moment, I froze.“It’s him...” I whispered, instinctively placing my hand on my belly. The eunuch glanced at me, alarmed, but remained calm.“We need to leave now! If he finds you here, Alpha Xavier’s plan will be ruined,” he said urgently, trying to pull me toward the exit.I looked in the direction of Valetim’s voice and felt a wave of despair. I knew he suspected something. If he realized I was trying to escape, not only would he imprison me again, but he would destroy all of Xavier’s efforts to save us.“Wait,” I whispered, gripping the servant’s arm firmly. “I need to throw him off track.”“That’s madness! Alpha Xavier wants you safe. You have to come with me now!” he whispered, almost desperate.“Trust me. I’ll delay him. Go to the meeting point and wait for me. I promise I’ll co

**Cassandra's POV**The months dragged on like centuries since Xavier disappeared. The last thing I heard was from some servants who claimed to have seen him working as a simple carpenter in a humble house nearby. They mocked him, calling him "The Crippled Alpha." The title had spread, and the rumors of his disability made him the subject of ridicule. His pack had abandoned him. When Valentim brought his punishment to everyone, most ran to save their own skins, including Jennie. From time to time, I would hear of hunts, captures, and the executions that followed. Valentim thought all of it was a big joke.Worse than the rumors were the photos. He sent them to me like slow poison, depicting Xavier limping, leaning on a cane, his exhausted face. Each image came with a messenger carrying gifts that piled up high in my room. They were never opened. I didn’t need to look to know they contained more insults than sincere intentions. That day, a servant entered, carrying a new batch."Luna, K
