7-Nighty.

Emily guided the little kitten to the living room, there she had most of her toys, she haven't played with them all, just a couple of them, still too worried about slipping too hard and not coming back. While Mollis was more than happy in her little space, it's the only safe place she knows, along with Jace's embrace.

"We can play with stuffies," Emily suggest, she haven't touched those, feeling like they were for way younger littles, she's a big girl, but she knew the kitten was little, in a way it all made sense to play with them now, for Mollis benefit.

"Stuffies," Mollis repeated, she was enchanted by the older little who's willing to play with her.

"You can chose one," Emily spread the stuffies out for her to choose, back at the apartment with Jace, he got her a few toys, he keep saying he'll buy her new ones, but the tired doctor never found time to actually stack his place with toys for her. These looked more appealing, more colorful, and softer to touch, a rabbit got her eyes, a white rabbit with pink ears and nose, he looked like her, all white.

As for Emily who's not a small little and is definitely too big for these toys, she had her eyes locked on a teddy bear, big girls can have teddies too, she might have wanted to ask for this specific teddy to go with her to bed a few times already, but she kept fighting the urge back.

"Look Molly I'm mister Teddy Bear," Emily said in a deeper voice, making her teddy move, it's how Mathéo plays with her. Mollis who hardly to ever had a playing buddy fell on her back giggling, this was so fun.

"Hi Mr. Bear," Mollis answer him.

"What's your name? And the rabbit? Does it have a name?" Emily asks in the same deep voice making her giggle again.

"I'm Molly! And she's..." She starts looking down at her new toy, it needs a good name. "She's Stella!" She decides, naming the white rabbit.

The girls got busy playing, mostly Emily doing the voice and Mollis giggling, while the adults finished cleaning after themselves, Mathéo could see how exhausted his friend look, the bags under his eyes, the weight he lost. He saw the tender care he showed around the kitten but taking care of her alone was draining him.

"I should check on them," Jace says worried, he haven't heard any tears yet, but they'll start soon, if he's not carrying or holding Mollis, they always start.

"You look like hell Jace," Mathéo says straight to the point.

"Thanks man! How nice of you, do you flirt with all your friends like this?" Jace answers him sarcastically.

"Wait, guys listen" Callina stops them, they all could hear the sound of giggling and it wasn't Emily's.

"How did she? Mollis never giggle, I heard her cry a thousand time but never giggle," Jace asks stunned, not even when he tickles her.

"The magic of Emily, she can make anyone smile, I'm just in love with her doe eyes," Callina says proud of her little.

"Now back to our topic, you look like hell man, you need help with the kitten," Mathéo states, he wasn't asking, maybe he's offering?

"How about we keep the big talk until after we put them to bed," Callina interfere again, being a mediator between the two boys have always been her job.

"Molly need a bottle, I can't send her to bed hungry, and to think I judged people who gave their kittens bottles," Jace says out loud making everyone laugh.

"You should've seen him Cally, he used to say 'how hard can it be to feed a kitten? Just force some food down their throat'" Mathéo says copying his friend deep voice.

"Well to be fair Jace, she does seem too young for hard food," Callina adds.

"Yeah, why don't you feed her? I'll chase my brat down to change and put her to bed, we can talk this through over some tea," Mathéo states yet again, taking the lead.

"Make the tea whiskey and you got a deal," Jace says, he needed a drink, been needing one for a month now but was too worried to drink around the kitten.

"Come on girls, time to say nighty," Callina calls to the two girls, they were both exhausted, hopefully putting them in bed won't be that difficult.
