Atasha's POV

We spent a few hours at the water, and when the sun became scorching hot, we decided to head back to our cottage and take a rest.

Conrad and I prepared our lunch together.

We opted to grill some meat for our meal, and once we were done, we settled around a small table, enjoying the breathtaking view.

"I wish we could have stayed here forever," Alison commented, which brought laughter from all of us.

"Can we build a small house here, Mom?" Asher asked, his unspoken desire evident. I knew he loved it here as well.

"Your Dad and I will discuss it," I replied, glancing at Conrad. As our eyes met, he smiled warmly at me.

"I'll start saving money for your dream beach house," he proclaimed, eliciting smiles from the kids.

"I want my room to be all pink, Dad. I'll make curtains out of shells. It'll be so cute," Alison chimed in, her excitement evident as she talk about her dream room.

Conrad smiled at Alison and nodded.

"We'll make that happen," he assured her.
