Conrad's POV

We settled around the table, trying to create a sense of togetherness. However, my attempts to catch the kids' attention were in vain—they kept avoiding me, refusing to even make eye contact.

"Your pasta tastes good, Conrad," Dad commented, bringing a smile to my face.

"Thank you, Dad," I replied, then turned my gaze towards the twins.

"After we finish eating, would you like to watch a movie?" I asked, patiently awaiting their response.

"We already watched a movie with Grandpa, right Asher?" Alison chimed in, looking towards her twin.

Asher nodded his head in confirmation.

"We also have to take a nap," he added.

"How about we go to the park after your nap?" I suggested, but they both shook their heads simultaneously.

"It's drizzling," Alison explained, returning to her pasta.
