Isla’s POV The hiss of the espresso machine was the soundtrack of my college life. Not glamorous, not exciting - just steady. Safe. Carter’s POV The noise in the club is very welcome. I can’t afford the thoughts of a certain someone that fills my head when there’s silence. I twirl the glass in the mind while I scout the crowd. I catch sight of Dom blatantly flirting with a guy in the presence of his fuming partner. Yeah my second in command is bi.
