Sitting outside, I was debating on going into the resort to bring Izariah outside. The bonfire started an hour ago and I thought she would have joined by now. She was the only one that hasn’t come out.

I had hoped to see her, just so I could look at her. As much as I didn’t understand why she affected me as she did, I could fully admit that I did enjoy looking at her. She was beautiful.

“Braxton, would you like a drink?” Jennifer asked me as she sat next to me on the tree trunk I was using as a seat.

A few trees in the area had been cut down and placed around the site, for seating. We used to have nice outdoor furniture, but I had wanted it to be more authentic for the setting. It felt like a real campfire, like the ones I used to have with Jace, Sebastian, and Lex when we were younger.
