Chapter 5

Dita had just woken up, after yesterday's incident where Radya stuck a knife in both legs which made her faint and unconscious. She slowly opened her eyes, looking around empty with no one around.

"Ouch, it really hurts," Dita complained when she tried to move her legs, she got up from sleep to sit up with difficulty.

The door to the room opened, Dita reflexively glanced at the door to reveal Radya in school uniform and carrying a tray of food, then walked towards her and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Your leg still hurts?" asked Radya worriedly, even though he had made Dita's condition like that.

'You're asking again, obviously it hurts, asshole,' Dita thought.

"Why are you silent? Does your leg still hurt?"

"Yes," Dita replied briefly.

"I'm sorry," Radya gently stroked Dita's hair.

"Hm."

"Are you angry?"

'Obviously angry, you idiot,' Dita thought again.

"Hey, are you angry?" Radya lifted Dita's chin.

"Why aren't you at school?" Dita changed the subject.

"I'm going to school, but you eat first."

"I'm not hungry, you just go to school, you'll be late," said Dita.

"I'm not hungry, you haven't eaten since yesterday," Radya was really worried.

"I have no appetite,"

"Why?"

"I don't know, you just go to school, keep the food here, if I'm hungry I'll eat it," said Dita, then lay back down, her head dizzy if she sat for too long.

"If so, when you're hungry just call the maid, okay? They will cook the food you want," Radya said, only to be answered with a nod of his head by Dita.

"Alright, you go."

"Remember, don't run away again!"

"How can I run away, my two legs are injured, let alone to run away, it's hard to stand up." Dita was annoyed.

"Okay, I'll go first," said Radya then left the room, not forgetting to close the door.

Dita got up again and sat down, her body resting on the head of the bed while thinking about how to get out of here, while her two legs were badly injured.

"I don't know if I can walk or not," Dita said to herself.

Dita tried to lift her legs with difficulty until they touched the floor, she took a breath and then let it out slowly.

"Come on Dita, you can do it." said Dita encouraging herself.

Putting her feet on the floor, she tried to stand up even though her legs were in a lot of pain.

"Ouch, it hurts again." said Dita with an expression of pain.

Trying to walk little by little, and succeeding. She was finally able to walk, although not as usual, because her leg was still injured and in pain.

"It's time for me to run away," said Dita solemnly.

Finally, Dita managed to get out of Radya's apartment by hiding, it was not easy to escape from there, considering the number of maids and bodyguards.

Dita walked with all her might, even sweating. After an hour of walking, she finally reached the highway, stopped a taxi and intended to go to Evi's house.

Dita knocked on the door of Evi's house many times. Until the door opened and showed Evi standing there.

"Dita? You didn't go to school?" asked Evi when she opened the door and saw Dita who suddenly came to her house.

"Just tell the story inside, can you?" asked Dita, she was afraid that one of Radya's bodyguards would see her.

"Where?" asked Evi. Dita pointed towards her bandaged calf and thigh.

"How did you get hurt, Dit?"

"It's a long story."

"Tell me about it."

"Uh but, why don't you go to school?" Instead of telling the story, Dita asked back.

"I don't go to school there anymore, my parents in Bandung told me to change schools, so I can hang out with them," Evi said listlessly.

"HUH? Are you right?" Dita was shocked.

"That's right, I haven't been to school for three days, I'm leaving the day after tomorrow," said Evi.

"Then who would I be with if you left?"

"Don't worry, we'll still be able to communicate every day."

"Yes, it's different, communication and meeting in person."

"Later, if I'm on vacation, I'll come to your house,"

Hearing that, Dita became silent for a moment, it had been several days since she had returned home, she missed her home.

"Instead of daydreaming, I'll grab you," said Evi.

"I want to go home," Dita bowed her head, her tears starting to fall.

"Eh eh, why are you crying anyway? Did I say something wrong?" Evi panicked because suddenly Dita was crying.

"I want to go home, I want to be free,"

"Huh? Go home? Free?" Evi wondered.

"Radya," Dita sobbed.

"Radya who?" asked Evi. Honestly, she was confused by Dita crying and then suddenly mentioning Radya's name, who is Radya?

"You know the new student at our school? The one I told you about that day when he shot a girl in an empty house?"

"Oh so his name is Radya, what happened to him?"

"He cut my calf and thigh," she replied.

"OH MY, REALLY?" Evi reflexively closed her mouth when she heard Dita's explanation.

"I'm not lying. After school that day, he came to my house, burned all my clothes, and forced me to live in his apartment. Yesterday I tried to run away, but unfortunately he found me, then he threw a knife at my calf, stabbed my thigh with a knife, it really hurt Evi," Dita explained while crying. While Evi was still very surprised, she could not understand Radya's treatment of Dita, her best friend.

"Take it easy, I'll report the police." Evi was about to stand up to get her cell phone, but Dita forbade her.

"Don't, my life could be taken if you report the police," said Dita.

"Are you patient?" Evi hugged Dita and encouraged her.

(The sound of people knocking on the door)

The sound of knocking on the door made Dita and Evi turn their heads together. Meanwhile, Dita was already in a cold sweat in her place, could it be Radya's bodyguard?

"I'm scared, Vi." Dita squeaked as quietly as she could, holding Evi's arm.

"It's okay with me," Evi was about to stand up but her hand was pulled by Dita.

Tok... tok... tok...

This time, the knocking sound got louder.

"WHO?" Evi shouted.

"Open the door, or I'll break it down," said someone outside, making Dita round her eyes.

"That's Radya's voice, don't open it please," said Dita fearfully.

"Okay, are you calm? Don't panic."

"What should I do? I'm really scared."

"You go into my room, don't forget to lock the door from the inside," Evi ordered and Dita immediately did, she went into the room and locked herself. Meanwhile, Evi will open the door.

BRAK...

"What are you doing here?" asked Evi trying to be casual, even though she was also afraid when she saw Radya, whose face was red and her eyes were sharp.

"Where's Dita?" asked Radya to the point.

"Dita? I don't know,"

"Don't lie,"

"I'm not lying," said Evi. Obviously Radya did not believe it, she pushed Evi's body to the ground and entered the house to look for Dita's whereabouts.

"Dita is not here," said Evi.

"Diem you, or I'll shoot you," threatened Radya, he pulled out a gun from his pants pocket making Evi silent.

"DITA, GET OUT!"

"I KNOW YOU'RE HERE,"

Radya walked around the house and didn't find Dita anywhere.

"She's not here, is she? I already told you Dita isn't here," said Evi.

Radya looked right at Evi's room, walked over and opened the door, but it was locked.

"Why is it locked?"

"Oh my, I often lock my room." Evi was already scared.

"Where's the key?"

"Where's the key? I forgot."

Radya clearly knew it was just an excuse, with a quick movement she broke the door to Evi's room with force, and it opened immediately.

Evi who saw it immediately widened her eyes, as well as Dita who was still standing not far from the door.

'The end of your history Dita' Dita thought when she saw Radya walking towards her with a smirk, don't forget his sharp eyes like a hawk.

"You can still walk," said Radya, his gaze dropping to look at Dita's legs which were still wrapped in bandages.

Dita, who continued to stand, could not speak, her tongue struggling to get out a single word.

Radya began to walk towards her slowly, while Dita walked backwards until she stuck to the wall. She looked to the side there was a glass bottle on the table, she quickly picked it up, threw it to the floor, and quickly picked up a piece of glass, then attached it to her wrist.

"Stop there, or I will kill myself," threatened Dita. Making Radya panic and reflexively stop on the spot.

"What are you doing? Put the glass back,"

"No, I don't want to! I'd rather die than live with someone like you, who likes to control and hurt." Dita said, her chest rising and falling with emotion.

Radya quickly grabbed Dita's hand, trying to take the glass. And there was a struggle between them.

"ARGH," Radya groaned as his hand was scratched by the glass. Making Dita startled and throwing the glass randomly. Grabbed Radya's hand and saw a deep wound.

"Your hand is hurt," For some reason, Dita was worried about Radya's injury.

Seeing that, Radya raised one eyebrow, he also asked himself, why was Dita so worried about his wound?
