ANTALYA'S POV

Raymond was wrong. There are no rules when it comes to Dominic Blackwood.

"You're lying," I said through the door, though my voice trembled with uncertainty. "You wouldn't kill your own brother."

Dominic's laughter was cold and sharp, like broken glass. "Oh, my sweet, naive little wolf. You really don't understand the kind of family you're marrying into, do you?"

Marrying into. Not if I have anything to say about it.

"I'm not marrying anyone," I said, forcing strength into my voice. "Especially not you."

"We'll see about that," Dominic replied smoothly. "But first, let's address this little fantasy you have about Raymond protecting you."

He's trying to get into my head. I won't let him.

"It's not a fantasy," I said defiantly. "Raymond cares about me."

"Raymond cares about everyone," Dominic said with disdain. "It's his greatest weakness. And it's going to get him killed if he keeps interfering with what's mine."

What's his. Like I'm some kind of possession.

Lacie’s POVAntalya was curled up on the hospital bed, clutching her pillow like it was the only thing keeping her alive. Her eyes were swollen and red, tears still streaming down her cheeks. She looked absolutely pathetic. I almost felt sorry for her—almost. But pity was for losers, and right now, I was the one winning.I let out a loud, exaggerated laugh, making sure everyone in the corridor could hear. “God, Antalya, you look like you just lost your last brain cell. It’s just a guy. And a baby. Crying isn’t going to bring either one back.”She glared at me through her tears, trying to summon up some backbone. “You’re disgusting, Lacie. I’m not going to let you get away with this. I’ll make you pay for everything you’ve done.”I snorted. “Sure, princess. I’d love to see you try. You can barely stand up. Maybe you should practice walking before you talk about revenge. You don’t want to end up in another hospital bed, do you?”She tried to sit up straighter, but her hands were shaking

Antalya’s POVI stared at Dominic in disbelief, my chest burning, my vision swimming with angry, stinging tears. Was I dreaming? Was this the man who promised to protect me, who swore I was the most important thing in his world? Because the way he looked at me now, it was as if I was a stranger—a nuisance. Or worse, an enemy.Dominic’s hand shoved my shoulder, pushing me flat against the hospital bed as Lacie stepped closer, the smirk on her lips sharp enough to cut glass. My heart twisted. He’d never touched me like that before, and now… now he couldn’t even look me in the eye.“Stop pretending to be so pitiful, Antalya,” Dominic spat, his voice like gravel. “You’re not the victim here. You’re the one who brought this on yourself.”My lips trembled. “I don’t understand—what did I do? Dominic, I—”Lacie swooped in, all honey and poison. “Aw, don’t cry, Antalya,” she cooed, but the mockery was clear. “We’re just trying to get to the truth, aren’t we? Maybe it’s time you confess. Don’t

Antalya's POVThe world blurred into red and white as I screamed for help, clutching my stomach, panic rising like bile in my throat. Pain radiated through me, sharper than anything I'd felt before, and terror gnawed at my chest. I couldn't lose this baby. Not like this. Not with those two snakes—Lacie and my pathetic excuse for a roommate—waiting to watch me fall apart."Somebody, please!" I screamed, my voice cracking as I slid to the cold floor. Faces blurred above me—girls from the team, wide-eyed and useless until someone finally moved. "Get help! I need a doctor!"I barely felt the hands hauling me onto a stretcher, the bright flashes of the ambulance lights painting my eyelids. I was drifting, voices turning to static, only a distant echo of my own heartbeat reminding me I was still here—barely. As they wheeled me down a hospital corridor, I tried to focus. Don't pass out. Not now. But my thoughts tangled with memories—of Lacie smirking, of my roommate whispering venom into her

Antalya's POVAs I sat slumped against the hallway wall, pain radiating through my back and abdomen, I tried to keep my expression neutral. This was the second time I'd been hurt since arriving at camp, and I couldn't let Lacie know how much damage she'd done. She can't know about the baby, I thought desperately, even though I was pretty sure Sarah had already told her everything."Oh, did that hurt?" Lacie said with mock concern. "I'm so sorry, I didn't realize you were so fragile."She knows, I realized from the way she emphasized the word 'fragile.' She knows exactly what she's doing."I'm fine," I said, struggling to my feet while trying to hide the sharp pain in my lower abdomen."Of course you are," Lacie said with a smirk. "You're always fine, aren't you? Nothing ever bothers perfect little Antalya."She walked away, leaving me standing there trying not to double over from the pain. I waited until she was completely out of sight before allowing myself to lean against the wall a

Antalya's POV"Wait," I said, grabbing Dominic's arm before he could leave. "What do you mean you're handling the Lacie situation? Is she still at your house?"Dominic's expression grew uncomfortable. "Not exactly.""What does that mean?" I pressed. "Where is she?""She's..." he hesitated. "She's coming here.""Here?" My voice rose in alarm. "To the training camp?""I just found out myself," Dominic said quickly. "She somehow got herself accepted into the program."This can't be happening, I thought with growing dread. Lacie here, with me trapped for weeks?"Did you have something to do with this?" I demanded. "Did you arrange for her to come here?""Absolutely not," Dominic said firmly. "I would never put you in that position. I only learned about it this morning when Coach Martinez mentioned they had a last-minute addition to the team.""This is a disaster," I said, pacing around the small office. "She's going to make my life hell here.""I won't let that happen," Dominic promised.
