Chapter 31 Meeting Jane and Peter

“We’ve been chatting here for a while, but you’ve not said much my dear.” Jane is looking at Marianne. “You used to dominate the conversations that sometimes we couldn’t even get a word. I remember that young lady, who had left a year ago. She used to say to you that ‘You have the Heart of Spite’. You would lash out at her and always find something disagreeable on her everytime you see her,” said Jane, chuckling. She deliberately said that to get a reaction from her but surprised to see her calmness.
