Del Gato.

Dominico Del Gato was the only child of the Del Gato family, a man so greatly loved and cherished. His father adored him, likewise his mother, a young man well respected amongst other families and considered a diamond being an only child to the very wealthy and successful Lorenzo Del Gato.

Lorenzo was so powerful and very attractive but faithful, very faithful to his wife, at least that was all that went around the town and the way Lorenzo treated his wife who wouldn't believe so.

He adored his wife, brought gifts to her occasionally, threw parties and sent her flowers. He respected the woman so much and only considered her opinion when making decisions.

One would think that the man was very worried that he had one heir.

Honestly, Lorenzo didn't mind, he had his nephews all fit, and truth be told if anything ever happened to the Beloved Dominico, Angelo was there, Giago after, carlo next, the man had his life sorted out already.

Angelo, Giago and Carlo were the three male children of his brother Armando.

Armando had never been opportuned like Lorenzo or Dante Cossato, Bella's father, none of these men were born into wealth, they made wealth, struggled and worked hard to put themselves in the high rank that they were today.

Unfortunately, Armando was different, people liked to think of him as lazy and dull, made mockery of his status and compared him constantly to his brother, but Armando didn't mind, he never thought of it as a competition, that was what they all believed from his actions but when the man had killed himself it had shocked them all.

Until today, no one knew the actual reason as to why the wretched man had committed suicide, they could only assume. some thought it was due to his status, in fact most believed it to be insecurity and envy, only few assumed that something else had been ongoing, no one really knew what had occured but even after that Lorenzo had not failed to give his brother a befitting burial and mourn him well.

The burial was grand as expected, a lot of people had attended, so much to feast upon, many didn't even care about the man who had died, they had come to make merry and wine with the one and only Lorenzo.

Angelo the first child of Armando didn't even mourn his father death, not even once, rumour had it that the man had never smiled but that was obviously untrue, Angelo loved  his uncle very much, he respected the man and was so thankful for him, he laughed with him and when around him but asides that his face was always kept in a scowl.

He was handsome just like his father, very tall with thick curly black hair, his eyes Hazel in colour, an insanely attractive man, Lorenzo saw him fit to take over his position if anything happened to his son.

He was srict and intelligent, smart and trustworthy to him, a good leader to his siblings, his very handsome intelligent siblings.

When Armando had died, Giago and Carlo had cried and cried, Giago was only thirteen at that time and Carlo eleven, but five years later they had both grown and matured, they knew what had to be done and always kept themselves composed.

Giago looked way older than his age,  just like his elder brother Angelo. Angelo was only six years older than giago but looked even more older, one we think he was in his late twentys or early thirties.

Carlo however looked exactly like his older brother, when they were younger, people thought them to be twins as they looked exactly the same and possesed the same features as their mother.

Carlo was innocent, naive yet sweet and generous, he loved his family no matter what they had gone through,

In truth, they hadn't really been through much, even while their father had been alive, Lorenzo kept providing and caring for them and when the man had died, he brought them to his place alongside the mother and they all lived together, so they couldn't really say they had been through so much.

Dominico and Angelo were not best of friends, neither the worst of friends, they had no issue with each other, they just didn't talk much or at all, after all, there was nothing to speak about.

Angelo claimed to care for his cousin but dominico could feel the hatred he had for him and that was true, even if Angelo claimed to love his cousin brother, he didn't.

He envied him so much and hoped deeply that the worst would come upon Dominico.

He would walk past Dominicos room several times looking through the window to see what the man was up to, when he had heard that Dominico was bethroted to a very beautiful woman, he got even more pissed than he had been, although he had never seen Bella but off course, it was all over the town that the woman was beautiful and gracious

In Dominicos defence, he didn't plan his Union with the woman, but does that matter?  he was still to wed a very beautiful woman, Bella.

Although, he could not remember what she looked like as he had only seen her a few times while they were very little and that was it, but he believed her to be as beautiful as the town had said.

Regardless, Dominico still awaited the wedding, it was to be grand obviously. The young man had always waited patiently for his person. He might have fucked around a few times, but then, it was required of him as a man, either way he never took any of them seriously, he knew he had his woman waiting patiently for him.

Dominico was very handsome and looked just like his mother, Benedetta, he had short dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, the same as his mother, the only thing that differed between them was the length of her hair and the man's height

Dominico was just as tall as his cousin brother even taller and Benedetta liked that as she felt it radiated from him as much power as was needed.

Although, Lorenzo was fine with Armando taking over his properties, Benedetta was not and that was why she had come up with the idea that her son married as soon as possible, so he could produce an heir.

Dominico had no idea that his wedding had been moved forward, anyways that didn't really matter to him, whenever they were asked to wed, they would, still, it did not stop him from wanting to be informed on whatever plan was to be made on his life.

He was no longer a child and needed to be treated like the adult he was but Benedetta thought otherwise.

To her, dominico would always be a child, her child, she loved the boy more than words could express, he meant absolutely everything to her.

There was so much love that she felt from him, so much that caysed her obsession with him.

She had given her son everything he asked for and whenever he asked for it, but still the boy had grown well with good manners, a perfect example of a man.

Benedetta considered Bellissima cassato to be lucky, in fact anyone that would wed her son was considered to be lucky by her and she was so happy that the one to wed Dominico was beautiful. She couldn't wait to have her beautiful grandchildren roaming around the Del Gato compound.

Sometimes she wished she could birth more children, but it was impossible to do so, after Dominico, she couldn't conceive again,  as a matter of fact it took years before she had her son, so she knew it just couldn't happen anymore and now all her hope was in her son.

She hoped he will be able to fulfill her not too many wishes, she just wanted him to stay alive, get married and produce an heir, there was no much problem in that.

Oh Benedetta hated Angelo, she hated him so much, but had to act otherwise, he pretended to be a Godsent to Lorenzo, but she knew who he really was, she could see through people and Angelo had no good intentions for her family. Although, her husband listened to her and had asked her before she allowed his brother's children to live in the compound, she had to say yes, not wanting to seem like a bad person.

But now she regretted that greatly. She should have said no, not caring if she looked good or not and given her husband reasons as to why she made that choice, Benedetta did not consider herself selfish, why would she??

Every woman had the best interest of their family in mind, so to her she was just making the right decisions and doing what ought to be done.

She loved her family with her dear life, no matter how small and she'd die a thousand times for them, if she could.

The woman knew she was beautiful and proud that she was, who wasn't proud to be beautiful.

In Florence, Italy. Pretty privileged was a thing and that was how she was able to wed Lorenzo.

while she grew, she outstood amongst her sisters and each one of them envied her, she had the opportunity to choose whoever she wished to marry, because a lot of men came.

Unlike her sisters who were forced to marry which ever man had arrived first.

When Lorenzo heard of the Pretty Woman, he immediately head for her, coming with money and gifts, hoping to buy her heart with all of those and indeed. ,

The moment Benedetta had seen him, she turned to her papa

"Papà it's him I want"

"So be it, Il mio bambino" the man smiled at his beautiful daughter knowing she had made a great choice.

(my child)

"Mr Del Gato, would like to speak with you sir" a tall slender man called upon dominico.

he nodded at the man and took off his Apron, admiring his painting. Apart from his good looks and nature, Dominico possesed many skills, another reason he was called perfect, blessed and beloved.

"how are you my son" benedetta smiled as Dominico walked past him,

"I haven't seen you all day, come give your mother a kiss"

He chuckled and strolled to his mother, kissing her on the Cheeks sweetly.

"Hai un profumo cosi buono" she laughed rubbing his hair, scattering it's perfect arrangement.

(You smell very nice)

"Grazie mamma"

The two walked down the staircase majestically to their father. Angelo scowled when his eyes met theirs, Benedettas hand tightly in the arms of her son.

Angelo had grown with so much love from his father, even with little to no money, he still seemed to be happy with his family, but once he was brought to the compound, he loses all that love and focuses on Greed and envy.

His mother Greta was very different but still very beautiful, she didn't possess the hatred her son  did, she was grateful, very grateful to be put in such position and thankful to Lorenzo but Benedetta most importantly because she knew had the woman  refused, neither of her family would  have  had access to any of these luxuries.

Her life with her late husband had not been hell, not even close to, they loved each other so much, that it pained her  every day that the man was not  besides her,  there was no money but there was love and that was all that mattered to her.

she always wanted to marry for love and was able to do just that, she did suffer, suffer a lot, but her husband would do the best he could to make her happy, that action alone would make her smile for days

And so,

When she had heard that Armando had committed suicide, she starved for days, to her it was the worst way one could be lost, she would rather prefer him to be murdered than to kill himself.

"my beloved Armando, rest in peace"  she'd say every night before she slept, her daughter in her arms.

Armando had died when she was pregnant with Aurora, her only female child and she promised to give her child the world, everything she had because she needed as much love as she could get.

" you sent for us father" Dominico spoke standing beside his father.

Lorenzo stood by the garden, a wine glass in his hands

"yes, yes, please sit" he smiled placing a kiss on his wife lips.

The three sat on the round table by the garden. Lorenzo cleared his throat as the maid filled their glasses with wine.

"Grazie" dominico said to the woman as she moved away

"Why have you called us here?"  Benedetta asked pretending to be unaware.

He smiled at her and shook his head after sometime, he knew she acted that way because if Dominico eventually found out she had made this decision without seeking his content, he would have been so pissed at her and she couldn't stand that.

"The wedding has been moved"  he looked at his son, his face empty of emotion "it would be coming soon"

"what?" He asked calmly but his expression read otherwise.

"Your courting with bellissima begins tomorrow, she'd be coming over" he brought his wine glass to his lips, frowning afterwards.

Dominico just stared at his father, this was happening again, had this man not understood he was twenty four and not to be treated this way.

Filled with anger, he shook his head and walked away swiftly, not wanting to spare a glance to either of his parents.

"Figilo!" Benedetta exclaimed moving after her son.

(Son)

The man walked away as quickly as he could slamming the door shut.

"Oh shit."

Benedetta stood before her son's door rubbing her forehead with her hands vigorously.
