I stepped out the back of the car, not needing the chauffeur to open the door for me. I needed to create as much distance between Kale and I as possible. When I turned around to bid him goodnight, he pretended to pout. I fought my giggle. It was nice to see him like this. It was cute. 

"Please…. Change your mind." I shook my head. 

"It's late…" I started.

"Well…. I'm tired."
