CHAPTER THIRTEEN: DIRTY BUT INNOCENT

Where did the weekend go? It was gone, and I was back in my office at 8am Monday morning. First thing, Emails. And that was when I remembered that Mr. Davis had sent that detailed notice, explaining how it was that we would compete for that CEO position. It had escaped my mind on Friday. I was quick to open the attachment, looking over the word documents. I skimmed through, picking out all of the important information. The CEO position would be announced at the Employee Appreciation dinner, three and half weeks from now. The person chosen should not only be a leader, but an advocate for the workers and the clients, doing whatever they need to do to complete a project and keep our partners happy.
