"I, Alpha Damian Williams, future alpha of the white moon pack, rejects you Imelda Stone, of the Crescent pack, as my mate."
I could hear his voice still ringing in my head as I ran. The pain that seared through my heart was one I couldn't bear. It felt as though my heart had been ripped apart into two. The only time I felt this kind of pain was when my mother, the former Luna of the Crescent pack died. Not wanting to tear up in front of him, I ran off after shifting into my wolf; not without rejecting him.Though it hurts, I refuse to be an object of ridicule. I am Imelda Stone, the first daughter of Alpha Raiden Stone. I had the blood of an Alpha running through me and I was no weakling. Therefore I was not going to become one because my mate rejected me. Though, my wolf Arla reacted differently, whimpering in pain, wanting nighting else but to be in the arms of our mate."Get it together Arla, he doesn't want us," I sneered angrily."I know, but it hurts," she whimpered in pain. I could feel the pain too but I refused to let it weigh me down. I just kept running, releasing my anger to the wind.We had gone to the White Moon pack to make an alliance with them when I met him, my mate. He smelt of ginger bread and snow fluke. My heart soared in happiness and Arla paced about in my head happily. We wanted to meet our mate and be in his arms.I thought I was lucky to have met my fated mate. Not everyone was privileged to have a mate, only two out of ten wolves ever got lucky to meet their mates. So I was more than glad to have gotten a mate but the moment I walked up to him, he rejected me, claiming he had someone he wanted already. If not for the alliance that my pack came for, I would have clawed his handsome face and scar him for life. At least, he would use the scar to remember me as the mate he rejected. But I couldn't do that, it would cause a fight and spoil all the effort my dad put into making the alliance. So I simply accepted his rejection and walked away with my head held up high.I could hear some wolves approaching and they were not from my pack."Rogue wolves," Arla said and a sinister smile curved on my face."Perfect timing," I slowed down and allowed them close in on me. They were three wolves in total. Two black wolves and a brown wolf. They caught up with me in no time. I growled menacingly, taking my stand."What's a lone Wolf like you doing out here on your own, you should be with daddy" one of the wolves circling me taunted. The brown one to be precise. It seemed to be the leader of it's little rogue group."None of your business," I sneered."If I were you, I'll run off now that I'm still being nice," I added and they growled threateningly."Watch your mouth little girl," he growled, glaring at me."Get out of my way," I ordered coldly."If we don't?"I smiled wickedly, observing the way they moved. I could tell their weaknesses from their movement already and could take them all easily."Your spirits will be the ones to leave here, leaving your dead body behind.""How dare you!" the brown wolf growled and charged at me, coming for my throat.I easily side tracked him and bit down on his legs, ripping his flesh off.He howled out in pain, not expecting my attack. Seeing one of theirs hurt, the two other black wolves charged at me at once.I flipped backwards and they collided into each other. Before they could recover, I attacked one of the black wolves and ripped it's wind pipe out of it's throat and it went limp to the ground. My canines and fur were stained with it's blood and it irritated me.One thing about rogue wolves is that, their attacks are not always coordinated. They attack without thinking which is what gives me an edge over them.Distracted by the blood in my mouth, I didn't see the brown wolf charging at me. He slammed me into the tree and came charging at me again .Not this time asshole!I groaned in pain, pushing myself forward and then stabbed him in the belly with my claws, ripping his belly open.He fell to the ground and shifted back to a naked man, gagging on his own blood. The last wolf ran to him and nuzzled it's neck trying to get him to stand up. Seems they were mates. The brown steaked wolf was howling in pain as it clung close to her dead mate."Now you're making me feel bad, you should have left when I gave you the chance," I looked at the man in pity and shook my head. He was gone and can't be saved.I turned to leave, leaving the wolf to mourn her dead mate. I decided to show her mercy since she just lost her mate. She might as well kill herself if she is unable to handle the pain.Although I didn't know what it feels like to lose a mate but I know what it felt like to be rejected. I'm certain the pain that comes with losing a mate is far more painful than being rejected. But well who was I kidding. She certainly isn't going to let go of her mate's death just like that. I felt her coming from behind, once she was close enough, I moved to the side and she landed roughly on the ground. She is really bad at sneak attacks. I could hear her paws hitting the ground aggressively even before she got close enough and I could feel the anger rolling off her in waves as well. She got up from the ground quickly and charged at me again. I limped away, avoiding her claws. The brown wolf injured my leg when he slammed me into the tree and it is yet to heal."I don't want to hurt you, you just lost a mate. You should be mourning him and not trying to kill me." What I said, seemed to have provoked her, although I didn't mean to actually provoke her.She charged at me more aggressively this time and tried to claw out my throat. I bit down on her paw, ripping her claw out and she howled out in pain, sending the birds flying away in fright. Not waiting for her to recover, I ripped out her heart and she fell limp to the floor.I really didn't want to kill her, but she wouldn't listen when I asked her to leave. I dumped her heart on the floor and dragged her to her mate, laying them side by side.I wasn't so bad anyways, rather than mourn her dead mate forever, I helped her join him since she misses him so much already. With one last glance at them, I walked away, feeling light headed and calmer after killing these rogue wolves."Let's go home Arla," I said to my wolf and she purred as we walked back home to our pack.In the heart of the forgotten forest lay a place that whispered of shadows and secrets. The air hung heavy with an unsettling stillness, broken only by the occasional rustle of unseen creatures. This dark corner seemed to defy the very essence of light, where even the moon's hesitant glow dared not penetrate. The trees, gnarled and twisted, stood like ancient sentinels guarding the secrets held within the darkness. Their branches, like skeletal fingers, reached out in contorted gestures that seemed to tell tales of long-forgotten sorrows. Leaves, coated in a layer of dust, clung to the branches, their color drained by the pervasive absence of light. As one ventured deeper, the ground beneath shifted with a soft, eerie crunch. Moss-covered rocks, slick with moisture, lay scattered like forgotten gravestones. The very earth seemed to exhale a cold breath that sent shivers through any intruders. A pervasive dampness clung to everything, as if the place itself wept in silence. The darknes
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the estate. I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement as I anticipated the evening ahead – a dinner with Derek, a man whose presence sent a cascade of emotions through me. The maids, with their gentle smiles, led me to the opulent dressing room, where an array of exquisite dresses hung like colorful dreams. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers as the maids prepared a bath for me. Warm water embraced my skin, and fragrant petals floated delicately in the tub. The maids moved with a grace that mirrored the dance of the evening breeze, ensuring every moment of the preparation was a symphony of care.As I soaked in the fragrant waters, a sense of luxury enveloped me. The maids, with hands soft as a summer breeze, bathed me in scented oils that transported me to fields of blossoming flowers. Their laughter echoed in the room, turning the simple act of preparation into a celebration of femininity.Onc
I know that I created the group for all female wolves for us to come together to fight for a change, but one thing I never anticipated was the involvement of so many female wolves who wanted the same thing but were scared to actually make a move. The turn out for today's meeting turned out to be bigger than the last turn out and the ladies really seemed happy. This gathering was basically the first gathering in which I saw smiles on different ladies' faces and it warmed my heart that I was doing this for not just me but them.Even Mirabelle of all people was part of the rebel group. One thing I definitely didn't envisage was her ever joining the group. I guess she also wanted the freedom as much as we all did even if she never admitted it when we were still rivals fighting for the position of the Prince's mate. The shock on my face when she invited me was real and not just a facade to hide my involvement in the group. The fact that Mirabelle joined was quite shocking enough, but askin
DEREK'S POVI decided to attend to the files since I was unable to see Imelda. Hopefully I'll get to see her during breakfast and talk to her. Ever since Eric woke me up from my dream, I couldn't stop thinking of her. Thoughts of her have been in my head and I kept wondering what it would feel like to really touch her and not just dream about it.I flipped through the files, frowning. The elders wanted the rogue wolves dead but I saw no need for that. We needed slaves and they could come in handy if they were captured."Why didn't you object when they were talking about it yesterday?" Darren rolled his eyes, and I frowned."They only talked about getting rid of them, not killing them.""If you really think that getting rid of them meant capturing them then you're really dumb for a Prince," Darren sassed and I huffed, rolling my eyes."Well, I'll do the right thing since the rest of them basically don't know the best choice to make in situations like this." I grabbed my pen and signed
"I can't believe you actually rushed me to the dining table for nothing," I frowned, glancing at the empty seats."We're basically the only ones here.""Well, nobody told me everyone would be absent," Maya rolled her eyes, taking a sip from her wine. After rushing to make it to the dining room on time we found that we were basically the only ones present. Just Maya and I. Naya was still sleeping and wouldn't answer any of us. The King is busy in his study room so help be eating there and add for Derek, I had no idea where he was. There were rumors of the Queen having a brawl with Derek, and being sick at the momentI would have gladly stayed back in my room if I knew Derek wouldn't be joining us for breakfast. I only came to the dining room so he wouldn't suspect anything but it was all a waste because he wasn't even present.Becca walked in with some maids lined up behind her with our dishes. They silently served the dishes, and made to leave."Don't tell me you're planning on leavin
Alvary laid peacefully on the bed, the morning light filtering through the window and gently kissing his features. The soft glow revealed the contours of his face, creating a serene tableau that captivated my gaze. His hair, slightly tousled, hinted at the morning's reluctance to release its hold on him. I slowly reached for his hair, enjoying the sleek touch on my fingers. I couldn't help but admire the way the sunlight played with the dark strands, adding a warmth to his appearance. Alvary's features, relaxed in slumber, were a canvas of tranquility. My eyes traced the curve of his jaw, appreciating the rugged determination etched into its lines. Alvary's morning repose seemed to soften the rogue edges I was accustomed to, unveiling a vulnerability that drew me in.His lips, gently parted, were inviting and I felt tempted to kiss him as he slept. I couldn't resist a smile that tugged my lips as I remembered the events of yesterday night. His hand was all over me as he locked us away
