Nyssa’s POV:

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the silence. The second thing I noticed was the bright light filling the room I was in.

It took me a second, but I finally figured out why I was feeling a little queasy. It was too quiet. This wasn’t the kind of quiet that I was used to in my own home, this was something entirely different.

This was the kind of silence that came from thick walls, guarded spaces and a place where absolutely nothing was allowed to go wrong.
