MELISSA’S POV

“Melissa! Melissa!”

I could hear my name, being called, but it wasn’t loud. My eyes began to open little by little. Had I fainted?

Edward picked me up gently and I staggered a bit, but he was there to hold me tight. He held me tight and then I rubbed my eyes and opened it, only to find him looking at me, with worry.

“Are you sure you are fine? Come, let’s get to the clinic.” He said, with worry, written all over his face.

“I’m…I’m fine. I…I can walk on my own.” I said as I tried to walk on my own, but staggered back into his arms.

“You see? I do not think you are fine. Let’s get you to the clinic.” Edward said, then drove me to the clinic.

“You are fine. You probably just need rest.” The nurse said, with a smile.

I couldn’t explain what had happened to me, neither did I understand what happened. But why did I pass out over that? Something seemed fishy, but I guess I really needed rest just as the nurse said.
