JANA’S POV

I was still feeling shocked over what had happened. It was certain that it was the council of elders who called him over.

“How does it feel to be feared even by the council of elders?” My wolf asked, and chuckled.

“Get the hell out of me and stop disturbing me.” I shouted with hot tears rolling down my cheeks.

“Never!” My wolf declared, with a raspy voice.

STEFAN’S POV

Despite the fact that I was worried if this was how things were going to continue, I still had that feeling that I needed to keep trying my best over her. I walked back home and to my quarters.

“Are you hungry? Would you like me to get something for you?” I asked, looking concerned.

“N…no. I don’t feel hungry at the moment.” She replied, with a slight smile.

“Alright. Let’s talk. Sit.”

She sat down, with her eyes showing she was inquisitive at the moment.

“Is there a particular time that this dangerous wolf comes out of you? So, we would know the time you’ll be out and the time you won’t.” I asked, inquisitively.

“That’s the thing. I do not know the time it comes out. But I feel it when it’s awakening.” She said, and heaved a heavy sigh.

“That means you knew when the wolf was awakening in you when we were at the restaurant?” I asked, in shock.

“Yes, but it is tricky. It intentionally does not attack all the time that it awakens, so that it won’t be predictable.” She explained as she stroked her hair backwards.

I sighed and was lost. I didn’t have any idea or plan anymore as this wolf issue was not one that I could handle.

A few days later, I was coming back from a meeting with the council of elders, regarding the kingdom and how it could progress. Then I saw people running out of the palace in fear and in tears. Immediately, I mind linked my beta to know what was going on at the moment as people who were running away were too frightened to notice me.

“What is going on in the palace?” I asked out of curiosity.

“Alpha, it’s Miss Jana. She has gone wild and out of control.” He replied hastily.

“Where are you?”

Jana had turned into a big dangerous animal that walked majestically as if that was her territory. We were at the palace open ground and she looked intimidating. Her claws were big and sharp enough to dig into the whole system of a human out, her eyes were dark and that was what made her look frightening.

“How long has she been like this?” I asked, trying to get all the information I could retrieve at this moment.

“She has been like this for over thirty minutes.” He replied, with sweat beads over his forehead.

“And you didn’t inform me?” I asked in anger.

“Alpha, forgive me. You were in a meeting and you have said that I shouldn’t interrupt whenever you are having a meeting that concerns the kingdom.” He said, with his eyes lowered.

I recalled I had said that because I always wanted the best for the kingdom, so any meeting the council of elders and I were having regarding it, I always avoid any interruption. But the problem that came up affected the kingdom as the meeting was not interrupted.

There were a few people who were badly wounded and I knew I had to do something about it.

“Evacuate everyone from here this instant. I know that only warriors are left, so I know what I am saying. All warriors should be out of the palace, including you.” I instructed, with a straight face.

“But Alpha…”

“Do not go against my orders.” I said as my fiery red eyes obviously shone brightly.

Although, the warriors were meant to accompany me in any turbulent situation, but this situation was different. It could cost their life and I was the only one that knew how I wanted to handle her. I didn’t plan to kill her, but out of fear, the warriors can do so.

My beta bowed and left as he called out to the warriors to follow him. Now, I was left with Jana. I moved closer to her to try to approach her in a friendly manner, so she wouldn’t feel threatened.

“Jana, it’s me, Stefan. You have to calm down, you are safe and fine.” I assured her as I walked towards her slowly.

“Leave or I slit your throat!” She shouted in a frightening raspy voice.

“I can’t leave. Jana! You can control this wolf. You have to fight it!” I shouted, hoping that she would hear me.

The wolf growled and ran towards me. It shifted back into human form and I had hope that Jana was still in there. She pinned my neck to the wall, with her fangs out.

“I gave you a chance, but you didn’t take it. Now, you wont even live to regret it.” The voice within her growled out loud.

I had to release myself from her grip or she would snap my neck into two, without hesitation. I tried with all my strength to release myself from her grip, which I successfully did.

Then she attacked me, she was really fast and was able to strike me with her claws. I groaned and I knew I had to fight her, hoping that she would come back to her senses.

"Jana, I know you are in there.” I shouted as I was trying to dodge her strikes.

Then she ran towards me and my claws came out and I dug into her system and bit her hard. She groaned and went down to her knees, with blood coming out of her mouth.

“Stefan.” She said softly as I placed her head in my arms.

“Hang on there, Jana.”

I quickly mind linked my beta to call a healer immediately.

“I am sorry for causing chaos in your life.” She said as tears rolled down to her ear and she stopped talking.

“Jana! Jana! Stay with me.” I shouted as I shook her, but she wasn’t talking or moving anymore.

The healer rushed in and managed to feel her pulse, even if I could notice that he was frightened. Then he shook his head negatively.

“She is gone, Alpha.”
