Four

Damon’s POV

"Damon," I heard Kiara's voice.

"What does she want now?" I growled.

I angrily stood up and went to open the door.

The way I forcefully opened the door caused her to gasp, the fear evident on her face.

I said nothing, I only stared at her, waiting to hear what she has to say.

"Da—"

"Alpha," I corrected.

Kiara swallowed the lupm in her throat before speaking.

"Alpha," She called softly.

"Please, can we talk?"

"There's nothing to talk about Kiara, leave now before I loose my temper,"

Kiara looked at him for sometime before she finally spoke.

"What's wrong Damon? Why the sudden change? There's so much I don't understand, a lot is happening right now and I don't get it," She half yelled.

"How's this even possible!! We're no longer mates, what the hell is going on Damon!!"

I wanted to tell her everything, right here and right now, I want to tell her that I know about her damn betrayal, that I know everything about she and Lucas, but I must refrain myself from doing so.

"You have no right at all to question me Kiara and do not take my warnings lightly, you should respect yourself or you won't like the next thing I'll do to you,"

I was about slamming the door but she stopped me.

The next thing I felt was her hands wrapped around my waist and her body pressed against mine.

"Please Damon, just tell me what is wrong with us, what's happening? I love you so much Damon and you can't do this to me, you just can't," She cried.

It hurts to know that all this was just a lie, every single word coming from her mouth is nothing but a lie.

I angrily pushed her away from me and she fell on her butt.

I already mind-linked two of the guards to come get her.

"I warned you Kiara, I warned you to know your limits and stay within them!" I barked.

"D Damon," Kiara stuttered, she just couldn't believe her eyes.

The guards arrived and I ordered them to lock her up.

"Bind her hands and neck with a silver chain," I commanded.

"Yes alpha,"

I slammed the door shut, but I could clearly hear her cries and pleas, deep down, I was enjoying this. This is only the beginning and nothing compared to the things I'll do to she and Lucas.

Few minutes later....

Lucas barged into my home looking so furious, I knew the reason he was here and I was more than ready to also deal with him if he would dare to challenge me.

"Have you no respect Lucas!!" I barked.

"What's the meaning of all this Damon? What the hell do you think you're doing?"

I stood up angrily, growling dangerously at him.

"I've warned you before Lucas, don't forget your place and don't even dare to challenge me," I warned dangerously.

"Or what?" Lucas questioned, baring his teeth at me.

"Do you even have any idea what you've just did? You locked Kiara up and for what reason!" He yelled.

I could literally feel the anger rolling off him in waves, just as I expected, he's come to protect his lover.

"Release her Damon, right now," He seethed.

I looked at him for sometime, I find his words very funny, he's literally ordering me.

"Or what?" I questioned, provoking him the more.

Lucas instantly brought out his claws and fangs, his eyes were glowing a bright gold color.

I growled lowly.

"You dare to challenge me!!"

"You leave me no other choice Damon, I don't know what's gotten into you, but this has to stop and right now, I don't mind fighting with you to get what I want,"

I smirked, this should be fun. Lucas knows too well that he's nothing compared to me and yet he's asking for this.

"Don't start what you can't finish Lucas,"

"Then let Kiara go! She did nothing wrong, let her go," He yelled.

"Since you aren't willing to listen, then you'll be joining her soon,"

Lucas screamed as he charged towards me, before he could claw at my chest, I punched him hard.

The punch sent him flying out of my home, breaking the door with his body in the process.

I rushed outside and I saw my beta and gamma standing outside, ready to involve themselves if needed, but I won't be needing them in this fight, Lucas is someone I can handle without stress.

"Stay out of this," I ordered.

"Yes alpha,"

I watched Lucas get up, his face was red with so much anger.

"Don't push me to kill you Lucas," I warned.

Lucas laughed, but it was more like a bitter laugh, then he scoffed.

"Do what you want alpha," He said mockingly.

"But I won't back down without a fight,"

He ran towards me, clawing and punching, but I skillfully dodged all his hits.

I got tired of his little charade.

I grabbed his neck and I punched him hard in his stomach, causing him to groan in pain.

"I warned you Lucas, don't start what you can't finish," I growled.

I punched him again before letting go of him.

Lucas fell to the ground, clutching tightly to his stomach.

"Don't ever challenge me Lucas, you're nothing compared to me and you know that. I'm letting you off easily this time, but the next time this happens, I'll make sure you regret it greatly,"

"Take him and lock him up," I ordered before running into the woods.
