…Rowland pov…
Freya and I stepped out of the taxi and paid the driver off. I could feel the weight of the bag slung across my chest as I turned to face Freya. She looked around, clearly disoriented. "Where are we?" she asked.
I took a deep breath and looked around. We were standing behind my palace, in an area that was rarely used. It was a quiet, secluded spot that provided a perfect place for us to enter unnoticed. "This is the back of my palace," I explained. "It would be better if we entered unnoticed."
I led the way towards a small building nearby. Freya followed closely behind. As we walked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as I thought about what might have possibly happened.
The small building we were approaching was a storage shed that I had used for years. It was well-hidden and provided a perfect place for me to go in
…Salena POV…Rowland's expression softened, and he took a step towards me. "I'm sorry, Salena," he said, his voice filled with regret. "I know I haven't been the best partner lately. But please understand, this is important."I wanted to be understanding, to be patient with him. But the hurt and frustration was too much. "I can't do this anymore, Rowland," I said, my voice shaking. "I can't be with someone who always puts work first."Rowland looked at me, his eyes filled with sadness. "Salena, please," he said, his voice low. "I love you. You know that, right?"I wanted to believe him, to believe that he still cared for me. But the hurt was too much. "I don't know anymore, Rowland," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. And with that, he was gone, the door shutting behind him with a finality that made my heart ache.
…Rowland POV..I couldn't believe what had just happened. Not long ago Freya had come back with me, and now she was lying motionless on the ground. It all happened so fast. My heart was racing as I scooped her up in my arms and carried her out of the room. What had Salena done? What had happened?I could feel the weight of her body against me, her head lolling to one side. Her skin was cold to the touch, and her color was grim. Blood was seeping from a gash on her forehead, and I knew it was bad."Call the meds now!" I yelled at anyone who would listen, my voice hoarse with panic. I needed to get Freya help, fast.As I made my way through the crowd, people looked at me with shocked expressions. They had no idea what had just happened, and I didn't have time to explain. All I could think about was getting Freya to safety. The
…Elena POV… I slowly opened my eyes, feeling groggy and disoriented. The first thing I saw was a man standing over me, his hand resting gently on mine. I couldn't quite make out his face in the foggy haze that surrounded us, but I knew he was an Alpha. I had a vague sense of familiarity with him, but couldn't quite place him. "What happened to me?" I asked, trying to sit up. My head was pounding and I felt like I had been hit by a truck. My head felt bigger and I had a hard time thinking. I could only look around as my eyes opened to let more in. "W..where… am… I?" "Everything is okay, Freya," he said, his voice deep and reassuring. Freya? My name is freya? "My name F...freya wasn't it?" It sounded familiar, but I couldn't remember anything else about myself. I looked around, trying to get my bearings. We were in some sort of dimly lit room, with stone walls and a low ceiling. It reminded me of a cave, but I couldn't be sure. I felt a pain on my head again and memories started
…Salena pov…I sat up from the bed, my eyes immediately darted around the unfamiliar room. I felt a knot form in my stomach as I realized I had no idea where I was or how I had gotten here. That was when I saw the young man, standing there in a pink fluffy robe.I couldn't help but feel a little uneasy around him, even though he seemed friendly enough. He offered me a glass of wine and I hesitated, my mind racing with thoughts of what could happen if I accepted it. But then he spoke, and his words made me realize that he was not going to harm me."If I wanted to harm you, I could have done that a long time ago while you were asleep," he said, and I could see the truth in his eyes. He had no reason to harm me, and it was clear that he was trying to make me feel at ease. So, with a deep breath, I took the glass from him and sniffed it cautiously. I could smell the rich
…Rowland pov… As Freya suddenly stepped back from me and shook her head, I couldn't help but feel confused and slightly hurt. We had been getting closer over the past few weeks, and I thought that we were finally ready to take the next step in our relationship. But then I saw the fear in her eyes as she stared back at me. And as much as I wanted to reach out and comfort her, I could sense that something was deeply wrong. The next thing I knew, Freya was backing away from me, panting heavily, as if she had just run a marathon. And then she began to scream, her eyes rolling back in her head as if she were experiencing some kind of terrifying vision. I had no idea what was happening to her, but I knew that I had to try and help somehow. So I reached out to her, hoping that she would accept my touch and find some kind of comfort in my embrace.
…Salena POV…I looked at Martin, I could feel her heart rate increase. I couldn't explain why, but there was just something about him that made her feel both nervous and excited at the same time. I watched as he leaned back in his chair, his dark eyes studying her intently.Selena shifted uncomfortably, suddenly conscious of the thinness of her robe. I wrapped her arms around herself, trying to hide her body from Martin's gaze. I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking, what he wanted from her.Martin's eyes continued to roam over her, as if he was trying to read her thoughts. I knew that he was a powerful man, and I couldn't deny that there was a part of her that was drawn to him. I stood up from the table, hoping to break the tension. As I walked across the room, I could feel Martin's eyes following her every move. I couldn't help but wonder what
…Freya pov…I felt my head spinning as I entered my room. But it didn't last long so I wandered through the room, going through my things and making some small adjustments to bring order to the chaos of my belongings. After a few minutes of aimless wandering, I found myself drawn to one of the shelves on the wall. Something about it felt familiar, like a whisper of a long-forgotten memory. I couldn't help but feel intrigued, so I walked closer, inspecting each item on the shelf until something caught my eye. There was a small space on the shelf that seemed to be calling out to me, beckoning me closer. It was a strange sensation, but I felt compelled to explore it. As I approached, a feeling of power and darkness washed over me, leaving me feeling both excited and nervous at the same time.I knew then that I had a dark magic within me, a force that could bring
…Rowland POV…We chatted about the various trinkets and decorations she had placed around the room - a vase of fresh flowers on the nightstand, a collection of books on the shelf, and a cozy throw blanket draped over the back of the couch.Freya settled into bed, I couldn't help but notice the cozy throw blanket draped over the back of the couch. It looked so soft and inviting, and I knew that Freya would appreciate the warmth and comfort it provided."That blanket looks cozy," I said, gesturing towards it."Yes, I love it," Freya replied, sitting up in bed. "It's one of my favorite things to snuggle up with."we started to chat about the room decorations, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. It was a simple conversation, but one that reminded me of how much I loved spending time with F
