Chapter 21: Invasion

~ Lumiére's POV ~

“ I see…” Lumiére chipped in.

“But that isn’t what I wanted to discuss with you…” the man said.

Oh!, Lumiére arched a brow at that.

Lord Ramona became serious and shifted in his seat, “ There have been invasions…” the man said.

Lumiére frowned, “ invasions?” he asked, confused.

The man nodded, “ Yes My Lord, lately, my scouts have sighted two unknown men trying to invade the West Sanctuary… I don’t know what they had been looking for, but they fled when they were caught…” he said.

Lumiére was intrigued by the news of the invasions. He furrowed his brows, trying to make sense of the situation. What could these unknown men have been looking for in the West Sanctuary? he thought.

“ …and that is it?...you didn’t go after them?” he fired.

The man sighed, rubbing his forehead, “We did, but lost them…”

“ how is that possible… how do trained Vampire guards lose a target. How ?”

“ They were fast my Lord. I saw the video footage. They were able to be captured in it because we
