Ever since B.B received a call from a voice that he swore to recognize but failed to point it to the exact individual, he had not been sleeping well.
He knew that K had found the other guy that she wanted and the other guy already accepted that fact. This made him so angry as he saw how hesitant he was when she spoke to him that morning.
He had been trying to contact K and yet she wasn’t responding or reading any texts from him. She was probably busy, he assumed.
So there he was sitting in a private booth in The Veil waiting for the other guy at night. He had been there for an hour which was earlier than the appointment the two made.
