“Alpha Killian, what are you…” Stella was going to ask, but the second I stood before her, I didn't hesitate to question her without a second thought.

“Where is Elora? Where is my mate?” I raised a question, my fist clenching tightly as I glared into Stella's eyes. The arguments we had earlier on in the bar room made me have the conviction that Stella was behind it all.

Plus, she had made a call as I was passing by the room before now.

“Elora?” She scoffed, folding her arms across her chest as she stared at me.

“I don't...” She was undoubtedly going to lie, but that wasn't going to happen, not when I was intense or when I needed my mate by my side.
