CHAPTER 25: OLD HAG WITH NO SENSE

My mood just disappeared to my feet.

Right now, all that covered my face was anger and frustration.

“Try to calm down, Ansel, Amos will soon find him for you.” I tried to calm my rage as I paced back and forth.

Finally, I was able to completely calm myself and my wolf who was whimpering in my head and returned to my seat.

‘Amos, I am only giving you twenty minutes to capture him!’ I mind-linked Amos again as I opened the last drawer and saw Edna's file.

‘I don't…’

‘I don't care! You have twenty minutes to bring him alive!’ With that, I cut off the mind-link and returned my attention to the file that was on my hand.

I clenched my fists as I put them down on the table and took the many reports of the streams and continued going through them.

A subconscious smile covered my mouth as I continued to check.

All the streams were doing well, economically and socially so, I pushed the many papers to the side then my eyes landed on the file that was on my right hand side again.
