CHAPTER 60: FIGHTING MYSTERIOUSLY WITH THE POISON

“Y-you ate the food?!” Grace stood tisked at the door looking at me as if she had seen a ghost.

I was sure she didn't expect to see me like this.

She didn't expect the turn of events.

“Why? Was there something wrong with the food?” I asked innocently as I stared deeply into her fake facade.

“N-no, nothing!” She immediately denied while gripping harder on the door knob.

“I...excuse me,” She stuttered while dropping her face on the floor trying hard to avoid my gaze.

“The plates?” I made her halt her steps before she could get out of the room.

She was in a hurry to get out of the room and out of my sight.

Well, I knew she was scared.

Her forehead was drenching in sweat as she turned to me,

“O-oh, sorry!” I just nodded my head and she slowly but carefully returned to the room and took the plates on the bedside table.

She was very keen not to come close to me for nothing because I wasn't planning on doing anything to her.

She did what she did and I was already suffering for her actions,
