Chapter 11_ Scar

VANESSA

"Ahhhh" the man's loud groan sounded, followed by a loud thud which sent him falling to the ground. Instantly, his other companions left me and they attacked Manuel.

"Manuel…" I managed to call out his name.

Seeing those three men surround and attack him, I did not think that he will be able to defeat them.

"Go wait for me in the car" Manuel ordered me. As I tried to go there, one of the men rushed and grabbed me.

Manuel kicked him hard on his legs. Immediately he let go, I ran quickly towards the car and I got inside. I locked the doors and I watched Manuel fight the hoodlums. Picturing the whole scene, it reminded me of that night when the strange man saved me from getting violated.

Manuel's fighting skills were unmatched and so was that mans'. He fought so well that none of those men were able to defeat him. I never thought for once that it was him who saved me that night. To think that the man never introduced himself to me, now I know why he did that.
