Athena strolled up the stairs, not even sparing me a glance as she spoke those words, even though I had frozen and turned to stare at her.

Why did Sienna see her today?

The thought was stuck in my head and I strolled over to my car and got in.

I drove out of Athena's home and I couldn't help the pang of hurt that plagued my heart as my car took me farther and farther away from her with every second that passed.

I didn't want to leave her.

I had lost her once.

I wouldn't lose her again.

At least, I wish so.

It doesn't take a seer to realise hat Athena was done with me, and I honestly can't blame her. I deserved every bit of the hatred she showed me. Even worse, I deserved more than she did.

I stopped at a restaurant just a little distance out of the woods that shrouded her home, where Nathan was standing outside, waiting for me. I had asked him to wait here and not accompany me when I saw her.

    The surgery began with all the doctors and nurses decked with their scrubs and gloves. The anesthesia set up for the surgery.“Scalpel” The doctor requested, his gloved hand extended towards the nurse beside him. Sebastian was the one who they would operate on first.He was the one carrying the live kidney. “Suction” The blood pooling on Sebastian’s abdomen was sucked away.The doctor snipped at the kidney, tying up the exposed ligament. The blood was wiped away, the doctor in charge of the anesthesia reading out his statistics.They were good, almost perfect. The surgery was going well enough.
