Athena’s POV

I didn’t know why I was doing this too. I knew I would be putting my life in danger unnecessarily. However, one thing I knew was that I felt like doing it and I would never back down no matter what.

“You have no reason to do this for me,” Sebastian told me. “No, I choose to disallow you from doing this for me.”

I could tell that he felt burdened by this. I had to take another approach if I really wanted to go with me.

“Who said I was doing it for you?” I began to laugh mockingly.

“Then what are you doing it for?” Sebastian questioned.

“I have to meet a few clients of mine at the Howler pack. I thought it would be better if I went with you. You will have your private airplane, won’t you? I can just go with you instead of having to board a public plane,” I explained. This was a big lie but I would do more than lie as long as I could go with him.

“You sound suspicious…” Sebastian muttered. I laughed even louder, knowing that would help me outsmart him.
